I think you’re someone to follow. This video was so well done and interesting. I have family in Chula Vista and will surely consider the Noble to visit. Thank you.

Thanks for sharing the trail as well as your experience with the fall - especially as a solo hiker, a reminder of the value of bringing a personal locator beacon and proper first aid kit.

You should also be commended for stepping up the production quality of your video guides. They were always good, but you have somehow managed to kick them up a notch. Nice seeing so many people using and benefiting from them.

We just got home from that area and to get home and see this video is perfect! We did the AllTrails “Indian Creek, Pine Mountain, and Garnet Peak Loop” (skipped Garnet Peak it was so windy), this included parts of Noble Canyon too. Beautiful day out today! A little mud and snow in some parts and just a couple people on trail. The creek was really flowing too. This looks like a really cool route of Noble Canyon you did, I will definitely put this on my hike list :) Thanks for sharing!

Love this area, one of my favorites. Please do a Cuyamaca guide!

I have a guide for Cuyamaca on the site now if you want to do it, just not from Indian Creek, but that could be a cool one

Cris- Just south of your view point is fosters point. Have you been? It is also just off the PCT, and has a nice peak dial that lines up with the peaks in the distance. I just hiked the Big Laguna Loop. Which crosses both the PCT and Noble Canyon. Cheers!

As usual, excellent photography & titles of distant topographical features. Slips, trips, & falls are a part of hiking.
Rim to Reno is a trail worth hiking, 20-25 miles depending on which trail you do, YES, it's an overnighter & you definitely NEED TO KNOW the geo cords of the water sources B4 doing this hike. I have a description of the short & long trails + extensive photo sets + downloadable tracks.
You begin at the Mount Rose Trailhead & end at the Thomas Creek Trailhead.
    Warm Regards from Reno, Nevada

Thank you for this great video! Just found you today in my research and you have a wonderful channel. I'm looking to backpack the noble canyon trail over a 2-3 day span and I was wondering if you could park overnight at the suggested parking spot that you mentioned in this video? It looks like you did this section in one day, so I'm not quite sure if you could stay parked in your designated parking space for more than a day.

I'd call the ranger office and see, but technically I see no prob with parking in that lot. You can almost certainly park overnight at the lower lot. Just get a backcountry camping permit from CNF.

That’s a pretty nasty cut. I had my first major injury hiking a few weeks ago. It was a rolled ankle. I have rolled my ankle in the past but was able to shake it off. This one was really bad. I went into shock for a few minutes. Tried getting back up, fell and went into shock a second time.
I just sat on the floor for maybe 10 minutes, calmed myself down, got back up and slowly returned back to my car.
Makes me wonder if there is anything I can do to prevent a rolled ankle. Most of my falls seem to happen when going down. I think the issue is on my way back I get lazy and stop paying attention to my footing.

Yea I get rolled ankles on downhills too - usually for me it's because I'm cruising too fast, prob a bit tired from an earlier climb, and just not focusing as much as I should on my steps. I just try to go steady and focus and usually I'm okay.
