Poor white. All it had in that era was Armageddon, Wrath of God, Swords to Plowshares, Disenchant, Balance, Land Tax, a pile of good 2 drop knights, the only unconditional 2 power 1-drop, and one of the best large creatures in Serra Angel.
I know Fifth Edition is weak and not everyone loves the new art. But these are the cards I played with the most when I was a kid, so I can't help but smile when I see them.
I never made it past 4th edition as a child. Just felt like a scam and we all quit the game. I got into edh when the pre cons came out and never could get my 1985 birthed friends back in. Too many bad memories buying 4th edition, fallen empires, the dark, mirage, visions and ice age. Those were bad times in mtg.
To date, 5th Edition remains the largest expansion ever released. It's composed of 449 reprints. That's an absurd number of cards! What I find baffling is how the _vast majority_ of those reprints are terrible, worthless wastes of cardboard. Cards that no one was asking to be reprinted 😂 😂😭 😭 Magic was so weird back in the day. How far our favorite game has come since then.
This is the most 5th Editiony pack that you could ever have opened…

serra angel is also the reason Paralyze wasn't much played, since they only had to untap it once
I loved the shuffle, Patrick is right I have no idea what the rare is 😂

As a kid i thought the initiate died because he went beyond dark ritual.
