- Hello all and thank you so much for watching! Hope you enjoyed todays Day in a Life!
In this video you follow me during the course of my day on Friday 17th May 2024, in this video we focus primarily on the routes 65 and 63. 65 is a very long way round route to Gloucester from Stroud, going via Uley, Dursley, Eastington, Stonehouse and Quedgeley before getting into the Transport Hub. The 63 is a much quicker route overall, heading from Gloucester out to Forest Green via Brookethrope, Edge, Whiteshill, Stroud and Nailsworth, then heading up the hill to Forest Green. Hey mate ,absolutely fantastic idea and videos. I'm a driver for Stagecoach Yorkshire based at Chesterfield depot so it's good to see how things differ between different divisions I find it realy interesting. Keep up the good work 👍
Thanks for doing this. Must be so much work alongside your job but it's so appreciated. Would love to see more behind the scenes depot stuff but understand that might not be possible. The routes are so relaxing to watch so just keep going. 👍👍👍

As a fellow driver (I'm at Arriva in Coalville), it's nice to see another driver putting videos out and showing people a little bit of what we do.
Much like yourself I've been driving for 5 years now (but I didn't do engineering), I did however do cleaning for a few months at a company called Kinchbus in Loughborough and have helped out cleaning at Coalville a few times.
At Arriva in Coalville much like how you have described in your depot, it is so chilled and relaxed, everyone gets on with each other, Arriva the company well, thats another story 🤣
Anyways I've subscribed so will be keeping a close eye on your channel pal, but as I say keep up the good work pal 👍🏻

I'm sure you're based in stroud depot, I have family that live in stonehouse, gloucester and cirencester! Amazing landscape even though I live in the North East (sunderland). I've been on the 64 before which is a nice little runout as an ex bus/coach driver myself cotswolds was my favourite place to drive a coach!! Happy you're doing content like this that give the people who think it's a "shit boring job" when in fact it's harder than it may look to them as you have such a responsibility on your/our hands!

Hello I am a bus spotter in Stroud you have probably seen me before and if you haven’t I’m usually on marling road in the morning waiting for my mates on the 8:05 64 Gloucester to Stroud
Good job if you can driver properly and manage the bus customers and lots of cash on the Double Decker's Buddy but very enjoyable watch for sure

Asked this on the other video which was really good. Starting to watch this one now. How much opportunity do you get to go to the toilet? That's what keeps me off the buses. In my current job delivering the shopping i pull over whenever i need.
Between runs we are given 5-10 mins and can go then, if stops on the route have toilets you are free to use them when needed

Actually, the company and health and safety people say to prioritize your well being even over running late, so if you are borderline bursting they say to go when safe and possible
