    Our breeder here in the us now have us under contract when we buy puppies (I just bought another Aussie) that we can't spay or neuter before 2 years old.

      That’s really interesting. Do they give reasoning for that? Is it breed size or just breeder preference?

      @@dragonflydog I'm not sure about small breeds, because I don't deal with those, but they want full maturity on the larger breeds- I have had Aussies my entire life, and it always used to be 6 months, then it went to breeders saying wait until after the first heat, then 18 months, now it's an iron-clad contract of 2 years, and they contact your vet. I don't breed at all, I leave that to people who know what they're doing. What I do know, is that the last dog I had spayed at under a year had spay incontinence. This puppy just came into heat, which is going to be inconvenient, as she is a service dog in training, but it is just something I will have to handle. Thank you for a great video!
