Que espectacular es esta banda musical. Impresiona la calidad musical e instrumental de sus geniales integrantes. Son totalmente profesionales. Me encanta el dominio escénico que tienen lleno de energía y que es trasmitido al público. Son muy pocas las bandas musicales que tienen la virtud musical de lograrlo. Estas chicas, se han farreado la oportunidad de arrasar en toda América del sur. Solo han estado en Argentina y Brasil, y ello es sin lugar a dudas un grave error. Llevan 16 años de carrera artística y en esta parte del mundo, mantienen intacta su vigencia. Yo no puedo estar sin su música. Las amo. She was replaced with ADD, who's a much better player. At that point, about 4 years ago, Oreskaband were probably at their very best, with every member being a great player. It wasn't to last. Saki, the trumpet player, who was almost a second front woman, left to join Mayson's Party, a more old-school ska band. She also has long blonde hair now. Then Tomi, the bass player left, late in 2020. After 17 years in the band, she wanted to try new things. I don't know where or if she's playing now. Oreskaband first came to my notice in 2006, when they were among several bands from Japan who were shown in a CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) music special. I liked them right away, and in 2010, when I had a chance to go to Japan, I timed it to coincide with a 3-city tour by the band, so I was able to see Oreskaband play in Tokyo. That was great! Now the band has only 3 original members, Hayami on trombone, Tae on drums, and iCas on guitar. As well, now their music is more like pop and power pop, instead of ska. Before, the great music made up for the lyrics being in Japanese, but now the music is less interesting, to me at least, and I still don't understand the lyrics. Which era of Oreskaband do you prefer: early (2003-2008), middle (2009-2016 or so), or late (around 2017-present)? Just curious.
