Perfect ending! The drama adheres to it's theme till the last "Who wears the crown must bear the weight of that crown". The only thing is which crown you decide to wear! Both the characters Won and Tan decided to wear a crown. One side, Won, all his gave up on his brother, his love just to wear the crown of 'Heir' and hence ended up bearing the weight of losing his love and got what he initially aimed at. On the other side Tan left everyone, gave up on everything to wear the crown of LOVE, and finally fond it. It was not only Won who decided to wear a crown but also Tan. He lost becoming a heir to the company and that was the weight which he has to bear. But he was happy because he has aimed at his love long time ago. But it was too late for the Won to realize. Finally, they both got what they wanted most in their life, what they prioritized and what they chose. Beside this there is a lot to learn from this drama.
That's a great moral lesson from the movie; be careful while setting your priorities in life, don't just look straight ahead, look sideways too and follow your heart for the happiness you deserve..
The last episode tells us so many things and how beautifully every character was written. To start from Kim won and hyon jin, they were in love with each other but deep down hyon jin knows that it's not possible for them to make it work out. Kim Won has the responsibility of the whole jeguk empire also he was always told to be competitive from Tan as he was the step brother..his first and foremost priority was jeguk group.. You can't blame him but he wasnt able to make efforts just because of the responsibility of the entire group, he knows if he would also leave this then it might Tan taking over and has to give up on his love eunsang or the entire grop will be collapsed... I love how hyon jin doesn't hold any grudges for Won and how he says sorry implying that he knows that it's gonna happen but they were both stretching it. I love the scene when Tan asks from Won that why did you broke up with her and his answer was this the burden of crown I am wearing indicating this crown/group requires sacrifices. Not everytime you will end up with the person you love the most. Coming to Young do,he has my heart like all the other people he wasn't a good person in the start but he changed, he was using eun sang to tease Tan in the start but end up loving her it was not just a liking but he loves her, he was clear about his feelings even when eun sang asked to be just friends he denied saying that I don't want you to be my friend because I couldn't resist. You are my crush. In the episode when she give him the band aid and he accepts he didn't used it thinking there might be a day when she also develops some feelings it was not for the wounded finger but for the heart. When tan went to repair his bike and he saw that girl delivering and where he remnicinsing the moment the first time he saw eun sang doing the same where he found out about her being not the newly rich. He then uses that bandaid not to heal the finger wound but the wounded heart implying that he needs to move on and start up a fresh. He was good person but just a product of childhood trauma he has faced during all the years. Also, rachel and hyon shin I want them to end together someday. It was the only thing I felt incomplete. And this drama shows how bullying still exists in schools and it can ruin someone's life too. Regardless of which how much money the person might have, they can't find the inner peace and happiness and may be end up as an individual struggling with certain mental issues. Pressure exists in every family whether rich or poor. Lastly, everyone's favorite eun sang and Tan, he was the one who knows from the start what he wants, he was resilient and diligent, he tooks up stand every time... Eun sang brings the stability and sense of fulfillness in his life the love he always crave for, the calmness and the reality he wants to see... She kind of healed her and he gives her the much needed support which she never get from anyone(apart from chan young). I was too emotional to finish the drama it's so well written and now it's almost 2024 and we can see park hyung sik and park shin hye in Dr. Slump. Wish there would be some new drama where Lee min ho and shi hye in leads. I love you Lee min ho
Three flaws in this K-drama - 1. Hyo - shin & Rachel 's love story was incomplete. 2. Won didn't get happy ending. 3. Young - do too didn't get happy ending. Still no matter what it was a very beautiful drama. Kudos to the whole cast & crew of the drama 💜. We need second season of this drama to cover up all these flaws as mentioned above.

I've watch The Heirs at least eight (8) times and it never gets old. The drama still invokes thoughts and feelings of good friendships and love built on trust relationships. I always believe that "true love" occurs in adolescence; once we grow up, all love is negotiated. "Big Ups" to the actors, directors and staff who made this drama happen. Chances are...I'll watch it again.

Hyo shin and chan yoong were my favorite characters in the whole drama. Specially hyo shin idk why but i loved his character and his friendship with kim tan. That was the purest friendship beside eun sang and chan yoongs. Lee bona was a sweetie too

I’ve just finished watching THE heirs, I’ve learnt that no matter how hard life gets never give up on what makes you happy . in this life we may fall again,we may get on our kneels again however.....nevertheless we’ll charge ahead, I’ve learnt that everything has a price, if you want to get you must give,I’ve learned that money isn’t the key to happiness it doesn’t matter how poor or rich a person can be,he must seek happiness from within,I’ve learnt that you should never loose faith throughout your journey and believe that everything will be fine and if it’s not fine than its not the end And let’s not forget-who wants the crown must bear its weight-♥️ So choose wisely the crown you want to wear

Frankly speaking, I had heard of this drama a few years back. After watching, Boys over flowers, I saw this in the recommendation list but didn't mind it even though I loved Lee Min Ho. Few weeks back I saw The Doctors and became Park Shin Hye's fan. When I searched for her other dramas, to my surprise, I found The Heirs. I thought I would waste my time watching this drama but here I am in the end that too in less than 24 hours. I understood that one should not underestimate a drama BTW I don't if it's just me who shipped Rachel and Hyo- Shin & Mr. Moon and Esther Lee😁 I am happy that Young do found his mom🥰

Hyo shin and chan yoong were my favorite characters in the whole drama.
Specially hyo shin idk why but i loved his character and his friendship with kim tan. That was the purest friendship beside eun sang and chan yoongs.
Lee bona was a sweetie too

Frankly speaking, I had heard of this drama a few years back. After watching, Boys over flowers, I saw this in the recommendation list but didn't mind it even though I loved Lee Min Ho. Few weeks back I saw The Doctors and became Park Shin Hye's fan. When I searched for her other dramas, to my surprise, I found The Heirs. I thought I would waste my time watching this drama but here I am in the end that too in less than 24 hours.
I understood that one should not underestimate a drama
BTW I don't if it's just me who shipped Rachel and Hyo- Shin & Mr. Moon and Esther Lee😁
