Lol I been in Jamaica/Bahamas/Trini many times and one thing is constant, if your drivers got a meal pickup scheduled, you are waiting in the car for him.... at any time.

Yes and you only need to be wrong about that once. Steve's hunch on that was 100%. Doesn't matter if it wouldn't happen seven times in a row. I would never put myself in such a dicey situation.

I never thought just watching someone playing blackjack could be so entertaining. You’re a great story teller and your transparency is so refreshing!
FYI, you can get apps that use Bluetooth or adhoc wifi to communicate with other nearby phones that don't otherwise have Internet service. You could still communicate with each other in situations like you described here.
So glad to hear everything worked out so far. I know you mentioned in the guide how you deal with stress of having a lot of cash on you and the paranoia that can accompany. Glad you were able to keep your cool (relatively speaking of course) and nothing bad happened. Also happy to hear you all are getting time at the table and it's not just a trip spent at the AirBnb.

Great taxi story, I'd have been bricking it too. I've only ever played blackjack at a table once and I wasn't trying to count, just playing for fun. It was single deck at Hooters in Vegas a few years ago. Had great banter with the other guys at the table as they were explaining basic strategy to me. Great experience.

Man, the idea of nebula's life time membership is so compelling because I really like the creator that have content on Nebula and Curiosity stream.
The only tough part is, their annual subscription is so cheap and affordable, that it is hard to decide between just paying for it annually or getting the life time membership. 🤣

As a dealer at the casino; I love these videos and love your channel. Just want to say that the first person who knows you are counting is your dealer(it is obvious for us). The reason we might not say anything to our floor supervisor,(pit boss) is because we make less than minImage wage. I am only able to pay rent when people are winning and tip me. Most advantaged players do not tip a single dollar and that is the main reason they are backed off so fast.If you are a decent tipper then you can get many things in a casino. MANY THINGS!
Couldn’t agree more. Some blackjack dealers no how to shuffle in certain ways, that can be very lucrative if you know what I mean 😉
tipped employes do not make less than minimum wage in the US. nobody in the US takes home less than the federal minimum wage per hour worked, period. like there are literally no exceptions. stop repeating this sob story, i know you are hoping it makes people tip more, but it's just undeniably false.
@@tasmiumthis is incorrect. The current required cash wage for tipped employees (those that make more than 30$ weekly in tips) is 2.13$. while the DoL asks employers to make up the difference, the way they have to is a bit murkynand can often lead to employees being underpaid. I would recommend actually researching the things you claim next time.

The law requires that all employees in the US earn at least the federal minimum wage for every hour worked, period. There are absolutely no exceptions. If you think this is wrong, please re-read what I said and actually think about what it means. Here's a hint: I didn't say cash wage.
That story about splitting 10s and then doubling a soft 21 really made me smile, I know a lot of indices including doubling soft 20s but I never even thought about the possibility of doubling soft 21s.

It's always nice to find a good new creator with a bunch of interesting videos to watch, but man is it sad when the waiting game starts.
Steve is legit the only person out of dozens who advertise it that has actually made me want to join Nebula. But that hit only pays off once, I get one video a week early, then it's a 2 week wait either way. Unless I lose Nebula, then I gotta wait 3 weeks for the next RUclips one! 😂😂

Great video, ive been following your youtube series for a while. Im a fellow card counter, been counting since 2022, and made over 200k doing it. Ive been backed off tons but none as intense as the ones you have experiences (thank goodness) haha. Really inspiring, keep up the great work and uploading these great videos.

You guys need to go to Puerto Rico, tiny island right off of Florida that is FILLED with casinos and big ones too, I’m talking MGM casinos and Marriott casinos and more.
The casino where I was in San Juan was very small and had a turtle so that was a no go

Hey Steven! There's an app for bluetooth messaging that you can use in situations like this when cellular isn't available.
All time favorite hand for me in my card counting career was getting dealt 2 soft 21’s vs a 6. TC was +10 after I had received the Aces. Doubled them both and caught 2 10’s. Won the hand and colored up faster than I ever had before.😂

Ya the cabbie thing is common in Nassau. They get kick backs for bringing customers to other establishments from the casino. We almost missed our flight cause our cabbie wanted us to go to some beach bar!

In 2008 my friend and i were in baltimore looking for a concert venue. At some point we took a bad turn and suddenly we were smack dab in the middle of the ghetto during a snow storm. This was pre gps in cars. At one point we were on a one way and saw a group of people on their stoop, no big deal we thought. Out of no where a white van stopped behind us and one in front of us. Probably 60 feet or so each aide but enough where we were sure it was for us. We looked at each other and genuinely considered ditching the car and running. After what felt like forever they just drove away. I looked over and saw the group of guys just die laughing and pointing at us, obviously it was just a prank but it didnt feel like one. Still think about it pretty often, scared me good, but nothing happened.
WhT do you do with all of that money when going through customs?
Doubling on soft 21 doesn't require the count to be that high if you use any "real" counting method that keeps track of Aces. And intuitively, the Ace you just got lowers the chance of getting another Ace and ending up with 12. This STILL isn't an auto loss if the card under the dealer's 6 is yet another Ace because tables that let you double on 21 have dealer's hit on soft 17.

This might be a silly question but, how close are you to running out of casinos where card counting is viable?
No where near 🙂
One of the things I learned through a course I took on evasion is the use of fake facial hair (that looks real), change your body size, and much else that you’re doing already. A mole, extra layers, clean shaven or fake hair could go a lot further than you’d think. It’s easy to think you look ridiculous but to someone that’s never met you before they won’t likely realize it.
