Wow!! I’ve sung this song since I was a boy!! God bless you & thank the Lord for your wonderful great grandmother who has touched so many hearts & brought so many back to the Lord!!! 🥲❤️
Thanks for the Christian example that the cathedral quartet set for many many years. George, Glen, Danny Funderburk, and Mark trammell were all a blessing and mark trammell and Danny fundburk are still a blessing every time they're around close to where I live I go see them. "THANKS TO CALVARY" WE WILL ALL BE TOGETHER SOONER THAN LATER! ACTS 16:31
By the way, short version of a testimony - this is the song God gave me to sing to my son every day of his 3 month stay in the NICU in 2012. The doctors said he had a very slim chance of living, and if he did, he'd be blind, unable to walk or talk, on dialysis, a heart monitor, and oxygen. He is 10 years old now and just as healthy as any other "normal" boy his age because God sent forth His word and healed him and rescued him from the grave (Ps. 107:20)!!! Who can do anything? Nobody by my Lord!!!
I absolutely LOVE this man, along with Glen Payne...I met him MANY times, and he and Glen were the REAL DEAL!!! They weren't doing anything for show, it was the Holy Spirit moving through them...
style002323 Yeah, they had quite a few personnel changes in the 60s and 70s, but once they landed Kirk Talley from The Hoppers, Mark Trammell from The Kingsmen, and Roger Bennett from a local Arkansas group, everything changed, especially after Live in Atlanta (first recording I remember). Then when Danny Funderburk came in, it took them to another level. And to get to do the final 10 years with the same personnel was pretty special, but the constant through it all were Glen’s solid lead singing and George’s incomparable bass singing.
my great grandma wrote that. :) makes me wanna cry
drinkywater amazing song. 💜
Yea but my great grandma never writes songs
Drinkywater, may I ask who your Great Grandmother was? Beautiful song.

Gênio Musical, pois possui um timbre de voz inigualável, sendo portanto, um dos maiores do Mungo. maneco - Brasil - Rio Grande do Sul.
Excellent footage
I have not heard anything bad from the Cathedrals. Love all they did.
That's because there was nothing bad to hear. They were the most consistent group ever.

They were ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!!! NOW AND THEN!!!
This isn't about the lowest bass singer or shouldn't be... The Cathedrals were just plain GOOD !!
THEY WERE THE BEST!!!
Amen.!!
So true.
I love my god
Change the speed to 2X and this is a really catchy song!
@kevrobster Man, George was the best bass, wasn't he? :)
That is a G2. Not the lowest on the piano but 1 octave about it. One of the lowest basses around
So it's a G1
do any of you sheet music knowledge know apprx how low George is singing at the latter part?
the Blood of Jesus will wash away your past and your slate will be clean. God bless you :)
What album was this on
Where does it talk about blotting out your past in the Bible like George talks about?
Psalm 103:12 for one.
1:16 starts
7:20 again
6:24
