Brilliant answer. No offence but the reporter seems not prepared at all for this interview, I left Sweden years ago, and Lars is one of the best watercolour artists in the world. To hear this amateur reporter ask him these simple question is just annoying.
What makes English speakers so much better and more important than non-English speakers? Perhaps learning Swedish would permit you to understand the interview instead of whining about it. Wonder what the odds of that are.
Geez. Had to learn Latin in High School, and then French. The only two languages offered by my tiny country school. Learned a bit of Spanish when I traveled to Central America. My grandparents were Lithuanian and I never learned any of that language, it just wasn't spoken around us. My maternal great grandparents were Dutch, and they also never spoke anything but English around me. I don't mind listening to Swedish. But, I think because English is pretty much a universal language, subtitles would benefit anyone from almost any country. However, I learn more from the images than what is spoken.
In English speaking videos the subtitles are autogenerated you absolut tosser. Also, this is a super small local tv channel in a low populated part of the country, I doubt they have the budget or any viewers outside of the local area.

Vad kostar en Tavla....
In English spoken video's it is customary to provide subtitles. I am not a Swedish speaker so the interview went over my head.
