He may not be well-known around the league yet, but nearly every goal he scores his highlight-reel quality. Would not be difficult to put together a top 5 for him from last season, and he's going to be a stud in the league very soon.
He’s not an all star? When Blackwood started for the devils last year they were on pac for over 90 points. Aka possible wild card. All other devils starters were on pace for 25 points, a disaster of a season. Y’all are so stupid, the fact that he’s as good as he is as a rookie on a terrible devils team is unreal
His first time ever playing net was peewee (12 years old) and he was unreal his first year ever trying it. Super cool to see him in the nhl and it was super awesome to play with him as kids.

Blackwood has shown consistent improvement - I hope NJ doesn't put him in Crawford's shadow. He has the potential to be a franchise goalie. Also - didn't include the block he stopped with his face that knocked out his 4 front teeth lol

Numbers similar to Hart yet doesn’t get the same Praise while Hart is on a damn good flyers team.
@@BonnotAR should also take into account that the Flyers face the least amount of shots a night statistically out of every NHL team

I can’t lie Blackwood is definitely underrated. He’s not an all star goalie but because he’s on a not very good devils team he just appears bad.

Blackwood is one of the more underrated goalies in the NHL. I can see him winning a Vezina Trophy at some point in his career in the NHL.
