This was a neat story but my one complaint is that I can’t imagine Ahsoka just deciding to do nothing. I dunno but that seems strange and out of character. She would fight Maul at that point and try to escape. And then she would try to find Anakin, only for Palpatine’s plans to be a step ahead. Otherwise, well done.
She would not fight Maul at any point since she started working for him. It would be more out of character for her to engage Maul even though he had said before that she can go as she pleases, it is her choice to follow his word. Even then, when she saw Maul actually faltering and flailing from sensing Order 66, she realized that even he couldn't be lying of such an event.
Nice. I think Vader is too overpowered in this version since he shouldn't be that powerful at this point of time shortly after duel of Mustafar, he is still learning to adopt to his new suit and develop his new fighting style since he can't move as fast as before. We can see from Vader vs Jedi Master Kirak battle, Vader isn't in his prime yet, he was losing to Kirak, I think Maul should at least fight equally with this version of Vader. As we know Maul was able to beat Kenobi, and even Mace Windu during Clone Wars.
You seem to forget that Maul got beat by Ahsoka, a child. But Maul is irrelevant in that Vader's focus was solely on Ahsoka. EDIT: I also don't ever care about comic canon in general, with stuff like Kenobi, TBB etc etc getting released, the information from comics gets retconned all the time.
@everest Maul wasn't trying to kill her, he gave her last chance after disarming her, thats when Maul slipped, then 2 episodes later when Maul had no lightsaber he pushed Ahsoka flying by using the Force, also isn't Ahsoka 18 years old in last season 7 of TCW? And survived Order 66 Clones attacking her from every direction? She also stopped a flying Space Shuttle by using the Force and she beat an Inquisitor easily, she is powerful as well, and Maul was a lot more stronger with the Force, beat Clone Army and took down the Star Destroyer. Maul was fighting equally with Kenobi during the Clone Wars, easily choked him in Season 5 on Mandalore, also beat Savage Opress easily, in Son of Dathomir comic book, Maul easily captured General Grievous after easily beating his Magnaguards, then dueled with Aayla Secura + Mace Windu at the same time and didn't lose, kicked Aayla while blocking Mace. Later even old Maul was able to beat Inquisitors easily in Rebels tv show.
@@timurjack8773 He disarmed her 3 times yet she pushed on and then defeated him. You seem to forget that Ahsoka even in her age mastered the art of Jar’Kai, a feat which many Jedi Masters had troubles accomplished. But even then, Maul is not in his A-game and is thrown off guard that Sidious apprentice is here to possibly kill him and Ahsoka. He's in the same position as he was in the S7 finale where he knows hes screwed and its actually hurting his chances against Vader. Only in the Mines does he truly push back using his rage.
@EverestProductionsFanFilms He has a point Vader around this point was not that strong yet very crippled and had to go back to square one and getting use to his suit and would realistically not beat Maul as easy as you think plus her never fought Maul before ever but I understand he is Vader he gotta be scary in this for tension.
@@EverestProductionsFanFilmsMaul lost because the plot demanded it lets be blunt and brutally honest. He did out duel her though his own mentality got him captured by her her mentality however was superior to Mauls while skill wise and power wise Maul was above her but even that she captured him power is not everything Ahsoka is not as arrogant and has the better mentality and she is also very skilled...Maul had what Ahsoka lacked and Ahsoka had what he lacked..Perfect yin and yang Ahsoka simply exploited what he lacked wich was control of his arrogance and emotions.
As plot devices go, I cannot abide the use of obvious or thinly veiled manipulations that are supposedly subtle within the story. Like, is Ahsoka not supposed to see straight through Maul here 19:16?
Ahsoka knew Maul's gig was up. The manipulations had come to an end when she realized Maul's plan had failed, she could feel ie, he could feel it, and everything they worked for was for nothing. She had no choice but to go with Maul now, willingly or unwillingly. She just wanted the clear answer.
As we know darth vader was a natural engineer and could use mechaguru or whatever so what if he used skill to create nanobots to repair his lungs and burns while also making limbs that could conduct the force to make lightning. This could relate to inquisitor baris as she used nanobots in the bomb and he may remember nanobots and their uses. He could could also conduct experiments diguised as torture to fool sidious, learning to heal wounds, make force sensitive droids/limbs and using nano bots to manipulate mididclorians to strip or enhance the force in individuals. What I was thinking was that he used nanobots to remove scar tissue especially around the lungs and he would be dipped in bacta or bacta would be applied this would allow him breath which means he can meditate more deeply. And for the limbs, it is possible to make material force sensitive and I was thinking he make limbs skeletal looking like in attack of the clones but would then cover the we either grafed flesh from his body or flesh made from his blood and other ingredients like perhaps kyber crystal this would make the force flow from him easier and perhaps with the sith alchemy in the limbs making his force lightning more powerful. Basically an uber vader who is perhaps stronger than full potential anakin.
Well it seems that maul is absolutely completely dead. Ahsoka will kill him if nobody else does. Obi-Wan might not survive long enough for Vader to kill him if Ahsoka finds out his part in Anakin’s fall.
She might kill Maul then again Maul saved her from being killed she won't forget something like that lol she will have uncertainty with him though Maul is unpredictable.
@@soularprimestudios5930 the entire premise of her joining him was that doing so she could stop Anakin’s fall. That was her entire reason for falling and now that she failed she feels used and betrayed by him just as she was by the Jedi. She doesn’t know what to do or who to turn to and now is more likely to side with her master instead of Maul if she was fully consumed by the dark. Just as Anakin turned against Palpatine when he found out that he was being used and lied to despite the Palpatine claiming to help him he was another slaver but he couldn’t leave because he was wallowing in self hate and felt like he deserved his suffering for killing his wife and unborn child. Ahsoka’s entire reason for joining Maul was to save Anakin just like Anakin’s was to save Padmé. Both weren’t given what they were promised and both started to blame themselves for it. If Ahsoka ends up fully being consumed by the dark she will, pragmatist she is, learn everything she can from Maul before killing him in revenge as is the way of the baneite Sith.
@@kristeenlivesay2664She might turn completely maybe though after seeing what it did to Anakin she will not want to be like him lol but realistically I see her and Vader and maybe Maul trying to kill Sideous because they all hate him and it's all his fault if you think about it...
tbh i didnt like how this did go but that was expected. though the work is done and it won't change anything, i will still state my opinions. - first and foremost, i think ahsoka would quit at some point, her ultimate motivation is still saving anakin from the darkness that is upon him, and if maul starts to budge on that account, she wouldn't hesisate to leave him and seek her own way of preventing things, even it's hopeless or not she would not sit on her ass and wait for maul to come up with something. she doesn't trust him more that she needs to, for her maul is a tool as much as she is a tool for him, and when that leverage is gone, she has no reason to heed him. she would never trust him completely and blindly as you guys put it. - what was that the whole point of maul training her in dark side(or much a gray side) if he never plans to use her? as i understand he plans to train her so he and her can take anakin or -if it comes to it- sidious down together. let's say they are late and anakin has already became sidious' apprentice, so what? why they don't fight him like maul planned? - i understand maul is not much of a mastermind and can't compete with sidious but isn't sending ahsoka after barriss is too stupid even for him? and i remind you, since that move resulted in no fruition just makes it even worst. - why maul uses double sided lightsaber when fighting vader? didnt he gave them to ahsoka? shouldnt he be using his own one handed lightsaber with the darksaber on the other hand? - there is so much time skip in this finale episode, while i understand it to some degree, i still think maul is ruined like that, doing nothing but sitting on his ass until all is done beyond his reach. like i said, he might not be as cunning as sidious, but he is not one to sit on his ass once his rooted horse is left behind. he has the ability to re-evaluate the situation and plan strategy anew in the face of disaster, like we saw many times in clone wars.
It seems to me that you didn't listen that well to the story. 1. The whole plot of the What-If is Maul using Ahsoka to lure Skywalker to Mandalore as well as having her be his accomplice in defeating him. The only way she could have a chance was if she tapped into the dark side. He also expected the war to go on a little longer, again the time range of the whole what-if is 3 months if not longer if we go by Anakin's hair. Anakin was suppose to come to Mandalore after Barriss assassination, something so large that even his Master would raise an eyebrow. Maul's mistake was assuming the Council would go with it but in the end, their fate was sealed by not allowing a Siege to go through. 2. Ahsoka was reluctant to trust Maul throughout the whole what-if series, she was not 'blindly following him', she was intrigued on what his plans were and if she was being misled or not. Her willingness to collaborate with Maul is based on the immediate necessity of their mutual goals, not on blind trust. Tapping in the dark-side and causing murder actually empowered her (for all the wrong reasons). Maul's manipulation was deep enough to work but again she never did trust him even though she said she was. Remember, Maul insisted that she could leave at any time, it was her choice to remain. Her choice was to continue doing her dark deeds and lure Anakin to her and Maul. When Maul actually breaks down in this episode, she finally trusts him because his emotional barrier is broken and he is actually frightened, revealing his true self rather then his egotistic always-planning partner. 2. Maul had already reforged his lightsaber after Sons of Dathomir, did you not even bother to watch the season finale of Clone Wars? He preferred his saber over the Darksaber, which was more of a symbol for the Mandalorian people. Also he gave Ahsoka, SAVAGE OPPRESS's lightsabers, not his own. 3. Maul does nothing TO re-evaluate the situation, he's not sitting on his ass. There is much wisdom in being still then there is riding a horse, worried as hell. By letting things take course, he has enough plans to begin contingencies, plot exits and new destinations, he does mention the possibility of leaving to Ahsoka, it's just not the right time to leave when the galaxy is chaos. He also felt it could be a good idea to remain and try once again for the plan to work. He expected ANAKIN SKYWALKER to possibly show up, but he did not expect VADER. We can assume they remained in Mandalore for 6 more weeks. ---------------------- I enjoy the criticism but I can also offer rebuttals. Especially one so blindly like the lightsaber.
@@EverestProductionsFanFilms ofc, criticism calls for rebuttals. i will just say i wished they were more about countering my points and direct, well, save for the lightsaber one. - ahsoka wouldn't trust him because he saw him whimpering and afraid, in the contrary, she would leave him and take action on her own because he is no use of him at that point. and he proved to be not a man that could be trusted with his planning. like i and you said, she doesn't trust him, she is using him in a sense, for that he promised a solution to her problem. what makes you think that ahsoka will take pity when she see maul that he is not what he promises himself to be and start trusting him because of that? also, interesting as it is, she was 'tapped' to the dark side at that point, so i don't think she would be in the heart to pity him even if his promises didn't crumble before her. - regarding your answer about why maul didn't fight against vader with ahsoka, i repeat myself but so what if he is vader? 'strong char' won't cut it, so was anakin, and maul even did fight him alone, twice, in this episode anyway. he just didn't use ahsoka when doing so, the very thing he trained her for. they would fight him and -probably- die, maybe only one of them would, but anyway.
@@EverestProductionsFanFilms I'm glade you brought up Maul saying Ahsoka could leave when she wanted Maul has no reason to really stop her if anything he would want them to stay as allies and ve on well terms....It's how Maul treats all those he sees opportunities or value in....

EDIT: I also don't ever care about comic canon in general, with stuff like Kenobi, TBB etc etc getting released, the information from comics gets retconned all the time.
@everest
Maul wasn't trying to kill her, he gave her last chance after disarming her, thats when Maul slipped, then 2 episodes later when Maul had no lightsaber he pushed Ahsoka flying by using the Force, also isn't Ahsoka 18 years old in last season 7 of TCW?
You Forgot To Credit "Arkham" as Almec.
I already fixed that during premiere.
@@EverestProductionsFanFilms 👍

I enjoy the criticism but I can also offer rebuttals.
