5:28 okay so I live in Canada and my partner has an f150, was telling him about the smog test (cause we don't have to do that). As soon as I told him this he said you should be making sure your head gasket is good. Typically if you're leaking coolant into your spark plugs it's a bigger issue and something could be cracked along the way. He said he'd guess you need a new intake gaskets

Fun fact. After 20 years it doesn't matter if the check engine light is on because the vehicle doesn't have to be hooked to the computer for inspection. In my state, anyway. I know this because my Honda turned 20 this year and passed inspection with the engine light on 😂.

You could get a code reader online and clear the codes before going to the smog place. And it would stay off long enough to do the test
