OMG, I love it. I used to have an 82 that looked just like it. A 350-diesel swapped to a 71 OLDS 455, but it didn't run like that. Totally awesome.

I did not do the swap, I believe it’s a build 400 trans, we did a 342 gear in it, but had some problems and wasn’t enough gear so the he had a 373 gear installed, the car runs very good....
Can you give me some starter pointers..I have a 5.3 in my Tahoe and I want to be able to do this. What cam you went with ?
I believe they went with a z28 cam, i Donk know the whole set up, Cj Durbin Dirty Durbs performance out of Iowa did the swap....you can find him on Facebook.....

Like it hope this car doesn't have a stock 7.5 rearend because a sticky tire will destroy it a 8.5 rearend out of a buick GN or olds hurst or 442 would be the way to go or a ford 8.8 out of a mustang would hold up to the new power it now has
a 7.5 will holds up. they just have to have the axles tubes welded and use a 28 spline tru trac. but yeah stock they aint shit. there even one on here that was a street car outta GA ran 5.70's in the 1/8 and he ran on the streets with 4's hustle hard performance outta GA car had a 434 with big kit on it beating race cars ON SLICKS
