I've done the math of blast resistance on bedrock before: you'd have to make an explosion that'd pretty much cover a continent in order to blow up one piece of bedrock. This nuke wiped out all bedrock that wasnt at the bottom layer.

The lore of Minecraft (Mobestiary) says the wither is strong enough to destroy obsidian and he does in game. Are you going to say it's not a feat of power just because it doesn't use explosion mechanics? This mod intends for it to be that powerful.

i dont think it produces more energy they litterly just copy pasted brandon3055s code and put in some crappy textures if your draconic reactor produces a low ammount of energy you are not using a good engouth controll software with CC / OC i usually get my reactor up to a output of 8million/tick probably 7.8 or so if you deduct the input if this still isnt engouth just go into the config and change it to your needs

this doesn't use minecraft's explosion calculations, though. seems to just remove stuff in a radius because it's way less calculation.
