This probably the best movie that depicts the story of a chinese martial artist. For once, the character is actually interesting and the story actually feels real.
It reminds me a movie. Yes it's true. I will watch this great movie, not because of Donnie Yen (I like him) but because it was a great story. It was bring up from a novel about a great killer who repent of his sins. I didn't watch the original story (year 196x) so I won't miss it.
Why in God's name was the English title translated as "Dragon"? That's stupid. The movie had nothing to do with dragons whatsoever. Typical American stereotype of the Chinese. Thinking calling it "Dragon" would suit the film.
They usually try to come up with something that sticks out and relevant. Wu Xia, as far as I'm aware, is a Chinese artform and also means good fighter in Chinese language
