I’m in the UK so the live streams start a bit late for me as they go out on a “school night” so I’m very glad to discover I catch watch these on RUclips! Stay safe all and look forward to travelling again soon
Years ago my wife and I hiked from Monterosso to Riomaggiore and it was epic. We were 55 years old and it was demanding but so worth it: the views were so beautiful and walking along the terraces was very cool. We made sure to buy our train ticket back to Monterosso before we left because the ticket counter in Riomaggiore closes early.
... but we like the "pauses" -- and the insights (the "behind the scenes") ! It's more fun to watch with the creator of this series of videos (Italy and beyond) and share his love of Europe.
Yeah India is Organized Chaos, you took the words out of my mouth Rick, I am dreaming of visiting Italy very soon. If things are too organized its not fun in my books, I love to visit places where the locals don't speak English and I can challenge myself as a traveler. Great Video.
Love it! I was planning to visit the cinque Terre on 2020. One tip I definitely like from Rick is avoiding the days when cruises are in the closest port to enjoy it without the crowds.
Thank you,Rick! I just returned to Verona after spending 4 days in Cinque Terre, your tips were helpful. Would like to mention that Miky's does not accommodate solo travelers. I discovered two other great restaurants Ristorante Belvedere and LAPO'S.
Even though Kamala lost Presidential Election it's still a great accomplishment that she was VP. Never knew how much Rick's shows were produced/directed/scripted good work for making it look natural. God willing, will visit Italy before I die. I love hiking, pesto and focaccia. Cinque Terre socialist life 100 + year old homes, twin beds but they eat, drink and dress better than us. Capitalism supports their lifestyle.
I really enjoy your shows but please keep politics out of your commentary. I almost turned you off immediately because of your comments. I also love Europe and traveling but we are both American citizens and at this moment OUR country is in deep trouble. Please do not endorse those who are changing OUR history with a pen!
Rarely anything more relaxing and simultaneously inspiring than these vids.
Love hangin’ out with you, Rick!
Thank you for doing these Rick! I so miss traveling.
I was there. Now I feel I am there now. Thanks to you. Rick :)
Yes, Rick! Italy is also my absolute favorite and most loved country for all the same reasons as yours!! No other place compares to Itlay! 😍😍

Great sample of Cinque Terre! I loved visiting in 2019, and cannot wait to go again. Thank you Rick and Team. 🤗

HIS SHOW. HIS TIME.HIS DIME.
HIS OBSERVATIONS.
What's the big bold freakout???
Huffy,
"Almost changed the channel"
No biggie.

You’re welcome to gtfo
@@IIIllllIIIIlllll nice reply, go drink more koolaide
Same here....very close to shutting it off due to political comments. I came to the video to experience travel.
Rick Steves has always been an outspoken Democrat, seems a bit unrealistic to expect him to change his ways now.
AGREED!!! Travel is bipartisan. There was no reason to bring politics into this. I travel to escape the reality that our country has become.
He should keep his politics to himself. He should realize that at least 1/3 of his audience despise Biden and Harris.
“The right way” being electing this administration sure didn’t age well.
