    I send EVERY person that discredits Pharrell for any contribution to Get Lucky as just a (bad) singer to listen to this song and deny that Daft Punk clearly wanted this exact vibe for that song and Lose Yourself To Dance, and they always have to admit Pharrell's greatness!

    • @00survive06
      @00survive06 10 лет назад

      Well, they already had the music down for both Get Lucky and Lose yourself to dance. All Pharrell contributed were the vocals and lyrics (which were ok). The robots are very good friends with him, but tbh I think the exposure he would provide had something to do with the collaboration.

    • @rashb3994
      @rashb3994 6 лет назад +9

      @@00survive06 Pharrell's vocals and vibe are what made those songs though, no way either of those really hits without him. Daft Punk kind of had lost their solo golden touch at that point. Pharrell revived them. They collaborated before that anyways on "Hypnotize you" so it could have to do with realizing his style really makes some of their songs pop and vice versa.

    • @00survive06
      @00survive06 6 лет назад +1

      Pharrell did NOT revive them 🙄 if you learn how to read, they already had the music down for both Get Lucky and Lose Yourself to dance! He didn’t provide any “vibe” that awarded Daft Punk album of the year for RAM. Quite frankly, both songs with Pharrell were the weakest in the album. I’m a fan of Pharrell, but you’re ignorant if you think he is the talent behind Random Access Memories and Daft Punk’s success!

    • @rashb3994
      @rashb3994 6 лет назад

      @@00survive06 I did read jackass and they couldn't do jack shit with either of those songs without his touch. They'd be just blah instrumentals and a blah album without his energy. Get Lucky set the tone for more people to want to listen to the album to hear more songs with a nice groove. And of course it won album of the year because it had two mega hits with Pharrell's touch on it. Do you think it wins album of the year if you take Get Lucky and Lose Yourself off? Not a chance. Get Lucky brought everyone on the dancefloor that summer. You calling them the weakest songs is subjective, clearly the world didn't agree. Lose Yourself you could argue is weak, but it kept the momentum going energy wise.
      Yes he revived them because only diehard fans would've heard RAM because before that Tron was something only diehard fans loved. It wasn't the early to mid 2000's where they were on fire anymore.

    • @00survive06
      @00survive06 5 лет назад +1

      lol!!! "blah instruments" You clearly know nothing about music, NILE ROGERS gave the "vibe" to Lose Yourself to Dance and Get Lucky, moron! They had music LEGENDS on RAM! Georgio Moroder and Paul Williams! Get Lucky and Lose yourself to Dance is ALL Daft Punk and Nile Rogers! lol Your ignorance is showing. All Pharell did was provide mediocre vocals at best. That's something we can all agree on. You can
      bitch that it would have been nothing without him, but Pharell isn't that popular.

    No. and so the tension slowly build you got them slanted eyes that kills
    All systems go. then you kissed my cheek my knees get weak my heart just
    Skipped a beat so i just froze. then you touch me there i knew you
    Wouldn't girl you touched me good i'm like uh oh.
    [Chorus]
    You know what, know what, know what, you know what? i'm sorry, sorry,
    Sorry, sorry. it hurts me, it hurts you, it hurts me ,what you do was so
    Good, so good, so good, so good.
    [Verse 2]
    Let me show you where you went wrong you know that our sex took us to
    And fro. then you had the nerve to say you're hurt and fix your mouth to
    Blame the cuervo. then in me could find a compromise and i'm just like
    You know what you chose. i don't want to say it again but here it goes
    Fuck it we're just friends now where's my clothes.
    [Chorus]
    You know what, know what, know what, you know what? i'm sorry, sorry,
    Sorry, sorry. it hurts me, it hurts you, it hurts me what you do was so

    What am i gone do when i can't get anymore i'd rather not no oh. cause
    If you wanna know the truth nobody made me cum like you i just roll
    Over. i can't let my mind think of you i hit that dial and get you on
    The phone. cause baby its just not the physical i get with you i'm
    Addicted to your moan.
    [Chorus]
    You know what, know what, know what, you know what? i'm sorry, sorry,
    Sorry, sorry. it hurts me, it hurts you, it hurts me what you do was so
    Good, so good, so good, so good.

    The rumors
    The rumors
    [Bridge]
    This aint right (you know its so) you know i want it, (you know its so)
    You know i want it. (you know its so, you know it) girl this aint right,
    (you know it too) you know i want it, (you know it too) you know i want
    It. (i'm mad at you)
    You try keep your feelings inside the ropes but then you weigh me down
    When you see me like hey hello. now you know we never cared of a public
    Place i see it in your face and those were magnific times don't go, how
    We gone stop?
    [Chorus]
    You know what, know what, know what, you know what? i'm sorry, sorry,
    Sorry, sorry. it hurts me, it hurts you, it hurts me what you do was so

    Oddly enough I’m 63 but his NERD era was so danceable and fun. You can’t help but move to this.

    For some reason this album reminds me of my childhood I don’t know why... It came out when I was 17-18 but it’s really nostalgic to me.
