Man, after the 2 Battle Royal updates and no improvement in the PvP the game has died for me. Extreme hackers, no new PvE content, inf combos, impossible bosses, broken skills and etc are the main reasons why i quit the game. From now on, i see the game as a fancy bandit beater.

I remember getting false banned in upd 4 and did a appeal telling them what happened I doubt they even checked the problem because they said I was hacking and just gave me no more info then that Eventually they did do a unban wave in like upd 5 or 6 I think but the fact that I missed out on so much because they can’t fix their own shit is insane to me

Phoeyu needs to focus on main game and improving the adventure feeling any One Piece game should have just like Rell seas is doing rn and Arcane Odyssey which isn't even a OP game but made a fun and interactive world to explore, so in my opinion phoeyu should continue doing the island updates but pause the BR development a bit and focus on the gameplay and feel of the game
I used to play GPO, but I eventually dropped it, because the game was so fricking expensive, and I absolutely hated the "grind" It felt like It would never end, In the early stages my goal was to get every base game accessory and weapon so I could mix and match different builds, but when I discovered that event items are basically just necessary and usually MUCH better than base game items, It just killed me, because It was litearlly impossible to get anything you want unless you grind for mythical fruits, I never even got into the pvp because I knew that every fight I fought I would be disadvantaged and never able to pull off some of the combo's people were doing because I didnt have the necessary items... It's also kind of a pain in the ass to want to switch out and try new things because devil fruits are so hard to obtain, It made me feel like changing the one I had was too big of a loss, and It just kept me using the same stuff and being bored... I do really like the graphics In GPO compared to Blox Fruit's graphics, but Blox Fruits recently has been going crazy with their vfx's on thier abilities, although I still feel like the maps texture's and vibe could to a bit of work, they have been putting out more content in general lately and It keeps it more fresh and enjoyable to play imo, I like that everything in the game feels obtainable and not like its going to take decades, although lately there have been some "exclusive" accessories lately and a new accessory trading system they are adding which has had me a bit worried.
worst part about the grinding is that it removes all exploration from the game because the most efficient way to get to max literally has you completely skipping zou, orang town, sphynx and arlong park. there is no absolutely no reason for a lvl 40 quest to give more exp then a lvl 70 quest. like bro easiest way to grind is starter (1+), sandora (10+), shells (20+), baratie (40+), land of sky (105+), gravitos fort (160+) then fishman island (190+) untill max god damn lvl. you stay on 1 island for like 300 lvls. you can go to second to grind if you want but its literally pointless.
You see it happen all the time. The lack of competition made them drop their guard. Get lazy. This happened everywhere with the release of mid games, people were getting more bitter and then boom. Arcane odyssey dropped. That set the stone. The boom Rell seas teasers dropped. Now suddenly phoe wants to release everything people wanted? Take bloxfruits they know what they are and they constantly staying in the game,with updates and now currently a large graphical update. They know the risks.
For me gpo lost its magic as the br/free update got out because i was expecting gpo to be as before with the normal game content. I loved the live bosses like krampus and cupid but as i tried br i saw how the game was falling apart with the trading and hackers problem and i couldnt stay with this game after the horrible update 7

I could go to my friend home with my phone in my pocket and enjoy some blox fruit or shindo life, but for gpo, not only does it require a computer; it has to be good enough to handle the graphics. It could have had like 20-50k players if it could work on mobile and console
There are multiple problems with that. Mobile would probably be too difficult to even put in, and most phones won't handle it. For console, Microsoft is too stingy so they made Roblox games for Xbox only allowed to have things in the game that was made specifically for Xbox.
The crazy thing is that they promise us stuff which they never do. started to play gpo, was given a fruit by begging and got it from a friend, started grinding easily with quake's waves, had to go another island after easily doing quests, quit because the oneshot waves became a 5-6 shot because npcs now oneshot me... skill gap i guess.
New players failing to be able to fight bosses because of the difficulty curve is not a skill issue, its a failure on the devs part for not balancing or adding a tutorial. GPO Combat will permanently have the infinite wall combo problem as long as ground combos are a thing which is what differentiates it from other games so there is no fix for that GPO Level locking BR is annoying, no one will grind just to play BR. I tried getting a friend to hop on to play a BR with me for fun but he couldn't due to the level lock. I'm not about to tell him farm the levels in a boring ass bandit beater to play BR with me. GPO cant decide whether to be a BR or a Bandit Beater is another big issue Locking weapons behind the battle pass sucks since if you don't like battle royal you will never get them.
The thing is if you don't like br you will probably have like 5x harder life in gpo since leg chests are so valuable and without them you can try to flip some items but one mistake and you can go back in trades and spent another 8 hours of grinding trades
Another problem I've observed is GPO lacking any consistent balances or patches. Let's take Deepwoken, which updates WEEKLY with new balances, changes, reworks, etc, etc. This weekly model keeps the playerbase extremely strong, and the metanis is always shifting. Therefore, it keeps the pvp scene relatively interesting. GPO lacks all of that. The PvP scene has practically remained untouched and believes that's a massive reason why people are bored.

When i played gpo at the time it became free, i was just really mad at the first islands on how HARD IT IS TO GET THROUGH yes it might be "the player is just bad, skill issues" but like seriously u cannot tell me u didnt spend atleast an hour or more grinding in the first island. this is what happens when you take a blox fruits player to a harder game but I can’t blame you in 2020 i choosed to buy rogue lineage I thought it was going to be something like the binding of Isaac or hades my only experiences in rogue likes games until I appeared abandoned the random house to explore got lost and I got killed I had hours trying to find what to do until I gave up and abandoned the game
techy definitely made some good points about how gpo's paywall gave it status which made people automatically think more highly of it, and that phoeyu didnt manage the updates after making it free properly, but i feel like the main problem is something basically nobody who used to play gpo brings up: the game just wasnt that good. the problem with a lot of games, like blox fruits, is that they just straight up arent good, so they basically HAVE to rely on consistent updates and/or tons of content to stay alive. i have talked a lot about this before, but roblox players play roblox games, no matter how bad they are, because they are either young and cant tell good games from bad games, or have been playing since they were young and refuse to admit its bad, whether its subconsciously or not. its true that all games, roblox or not, do depend on consistent updates and lots of content to some extent, but the truly good games, like yba, can keep a consistent fanbase for way longer without doing as much effort because the game is already pretty solid. ill admit, yba isnt the best, and it has a good amount of flaws, but its arguably a top 5 roblox anime game and it has been able to build up a pretty solid fanbase for a long time now. also, building up a fanbase like yba does require a decent amount of luck, do so does maintaining a games popularity in the first place. also, if anyone actually decided to read any of this, im guessing a few people arent going to like that i basically said the majority of roblox isnt good, so i invite anyone to give me reasons why gpo, blox fruits, and 3-5+ other games on roblox are actually good. ill wait.

@@LilKrysy well its kind of harder to say that it's good now, back when it first came out to right before uzukee went on that hiatus, the game was undeniably good. Over the course of 2 years or so, yba was able to develop a strong fanbase that persevered through that long drought.
@@LilKrysy He ain't wrong. It has some of the best combat of any Roblox game, the grind isn't as atrocious as other games, and the replayability is solid. There are so many builds you could make with one spec and one stand alone. G.P.O doesn't have any of that. Its combat is just A.B.A's. (Which sucks.) The grind is monumentally abhorrent, and, at best, you can switch fruits, weapons or specs if you want to try something different. Even then, those aspects of the game are gatekept through horrendous time-investments that simply do not feel worth it, afterwards. Like I said, the grind sucks. (I spent hours grinding for Bisento and my first legendary fruit. I wish I could have those hours back.) The only thing G.P.O had going for it was the effects, and other games are already catching up, now. Long story short, G.P.O is a turd wrapped in gold paper, but Y.B.A is a diamond in the rough. Uncut, jagged, and unpolished, but a gemstone all the same. Sorry 4 essay. I HATE MYSELF FOR HAVING PLAYED G.P.O. :sob:

What i think they should do is focus more on the social-pirate aspects of the game. I want to see more complex crew systems (which they sorta confirmed) and aspects that make it feel more like an adventure game than a bandit beating game. It would be so cool if your crewmate could be captured and sent to impel down, and you and the rest of the crew would have to save them. It would make combat actually matter if you could capture islands for your crew, gaining both notoriety and bounty for you and your crew, but have to defend it from other crews.

There was actually an one piece game that had a prison system, as well as a item selling system, three sword style, dials, sea prism weapons, among other things. It had a low playerbase and Roblox updates eventually killed it, but some devs are trying to bring it back to its former glory. It's called One Piece Online Rebirth.

I feel like its exactly as you said. I tried replaying on my alt. I wanted to do it with just sword but struggled so much and i have 4 other accounts maxed. It was really boring and dry. I still got the account to max though because i traded my self fruits and items. Other new players dont have that so their is really no good reason for them to play. Especially including the low drop rates of most weapons.

Me personally, I quit gpo only because in br people were to sweaty and abusing op combos and it became boring overtime, and because it just became repetitive joining the game then getting destroyed in minutes without being able to do anything. On top of that in br if you cant get any good fruits or items you're basically dead again, without being able to do anything about it.

Pika flight can ban for speedhacks if u get under 20fps. Those are only false bans for br that I know of, me on the other hand got banned because some kid wagered his jfit in a 1v1, lost, gave me his jfit, then reported me for beaming him.
If I'm being honest, I still refuse to consider the previous update to be update 7 with all my heart. This next update will be 7, simply because the rpevious update was 90% battle Royale based. Considering a jump in a number update, majority of it should be main game and not a seperate game mode. I like to think the previous update to be battle Royale update 1. Kage's Silhouette and Shadow Trap moves don't work and the earliest message I could find in the bug reports channel talking about this issue is 2 months old. How has nothing been done about 2/5ths of a fruit's moveset not working 💀💀💀

Fun fact. Glitches including: -Blocking while using moves, blocking while using a health/stamina pot, blocking while gripping, deleting devil fruits upon being gripped, move stacking and a lot more, cannot be patched by the devs despite them telling Pho about it. He needs to give you special permission for these bugs, despite them literally making the game borderline unplayable. At this point he needs to sell the game to someone else because it feels like he's TRYING to kill it.
I really love gpo and im glad phoeyu seems to finally be cooking at least a bit but it kinda feels too late, honestly I dont know if it will be enough to save the game, the only way its gonna be saved imo is if he changes to biweekly or monthly updates instead of large ones because the content is just not enough.

I was one of the free players. I quit GPO basically because the game was absolutely impossible to progress in with the old paid players jumping and 1 shotting you every 2 minutes, while the game having so many players became so insanely laggy that while I enjoyed the combat, it became impossible to even play.
The dev pretended for a bit to be a girl, because he knew it would make a good chunk of the kids on the GPO community (that just hit puberty), to keep supporting him as loyal players for a longer while. It was pretty crazy, but kinda smart. It also shows how crazy Gen Z is too.
The sad thing is that when i started playing gpo it was when it became free, 4 of my friends bought it, and during that period they always would talk about the events such as cupid or the Easter event, and they just vanished, both the events and this 4 people activity because of "lack of content" or "I'm tired because everything is the same for months", I'm the only one still play it sometimes, and that seems like a pattern, project slayers for a perspective is basically going down the same road, with things non related to kny in general or just the lack of new things. In gpo think that the downfall was wen both the game became free and phoeyu just said "screw the problems that the game has now, imma add things nobody asked for now", basically, the majority of Roblox games at some point

I think the main idea of the popularity of paid access games, is that drive to come back knowing you spend real money on it. Its a feeling we all get when you NEED yourself to believe you made a good purchase. Having better quality than bloxfruits was the number 1 factor. Making a game like gpo free would be such a short lived victory as people will realise the intense grind of gpo and just quit with no real incentive to come back
Also cool thing is that new fruits are now only mythics so for most people they are going to be ''content for your enemy'' cus they won't be able to afford

It would be great if impel down was some sort of challange, maybe like going from layer to layer, defeating different npcs (kinda like a dungeon but better), then having to run from/defeat a venom demon magellan!

I farmed fruits every day from kraken and notifier codes traded the fruits to items and better fruits every day for months (my goal was to get all seeing eye). I was very close to getting it but then the battle royale update came out. It made the all seeing eye price sky rocket because of the new buffs to it in battle royale etc. and it make the fruit value drop so much (Almost all my stuff was fruits). Thats why I quit
I hope GPO breaks and crumbles until not a single player is playing it. Phoeyu already made god knows how much, he didn't deserve a single cent of it and yet people continue to support him saying " I hope this update revives GPO " like man. Personally I'm tired of Phoeyu's greed. I'll never play GPO again, and I'm disappointed that people actually accept such greedy devs.
preaching nothing but facts man. honestly i feel like one of their biggest mistakes was not doing anything with alabasta. it was a massive area with so much potential but they did absolutely fuck all with it and it just became a massive nothing burger with an enemy gimmick that got old after 20 minutes, a racetrack that everyone forgot about not even a day after release and a boss gimmick that made it annoying to farm. new enemies, events, items and maybe even a ponyglyph system could have been introduced, but then again it’s phoeyu. still holding out for the day a developer with the passion and creativity of Vetex comes out with a one piece game that doesn’t follow the same overdone formula we’ve had for the past couple of years.
I swear its not listening to the community that kills every game, then when their game dies, they hurry and try to update and add new stuff, which makes it scuffed, then people get more disappointed. They just made it free to make the players buy the things in shop, to basically get anything good, you need to buy hundreds of worth of robux to get items to trade for actual good stuff, not to mention they still left many exploitable bugs, and didn't bother to do anything about the hackers at all. I don't recommend playing the game if you're a starter, the grinding is so hard, the first islands are hard. And the most salty thing is the people who bought the game before it went free, got a fedora. a worthless fedora other hundreds of thousands of people have. I was disappointed at them when all I got was a single idiotic fedora. Not to mention the toxic community. All of these points ruined such a good game.

As a F2P guy but always values PVE more than PVP cause i have a skill issue. The most HONEST thing you said and the most RELATABLE is the BR update, all of the paid community hates it even F2P players.
gpo is definitely better overall but so many things out it down, like P2W stuff and being a grindfest grinding should only be necessary if you have difficulty in the current place of the game, not necessary to progress

Uzukee is the creator of the game Your Bizarre Adventure a.k.a YBA, a anime game based on JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, last year or month the game has been dying due to no proper due to the optimization, lag fix, hacker everywhere, skin grinding too much, duping skins, skin tier list went down and went up for no proper reason, as people trust tier list who was more popular, all just rking and gang wars people and asking for 1v1 in public servers. Until uzukee went out of his mind, he decided to not focus on the skins but to focus on the actual game, uzukee fixes some of the problems player faced. Like fixing the lag and balancing the game mechanics and most especially, giving us more new rework and update. The game still continue to run and well unlike Phoeyu who releases update tons of months.

Last time I played the game the thing I hatted the most was having to go to the blackleg trainer all the time to get skills when they could just put into the stat menu plus they take too much statpoints so everytime I level up I barely even get stronger. Yikes, 15k price tag on a battle pass probably be getting 0-10 purchases at best on that one. Should've put it at 1k - 2.5k would've gotten more robux than a 15k price tag because at least the children that play have a chance to get their parents to buy it or steal their mom's credit card (with less punishment.)
Also there's another huge issue with update GPO devs has made "recently", they added a REALLY BAD "anti-cheat" that sometimes reset your character for "noclip" when you have a bad ping or "fast"/"fast2" when you "too fast"... also when you're just using the Pika flight wich is rlly dumb ngl.

I used to play GPO, but I eventually dropped it, because the game was so fricking expensive, and I absolutely hated the "grind" It felt like It would never end, In the early stages my goal was to get every base game accessory and weapon so I could mix and match different builds, but when I discovered that event items are basically just necessary and usually MUCH better than base game items, It just killed me, because It was litearlly impossible to get anything you want unless you grind for mythical fruits, I never even got into the pvp because I knew that every fight I fought I would be disadvantaged and never able to pull off some of the combo's people were doing because I didnt have the necessary items... It's also kind of a pain in the ass to want to switch out and try new things because devil fruits are so hard to obtain, It made me feel like changing the one I had was too big of a loss, and It just kept me using the same stuff and being bored... I do really like the graphics In GPO compared to Blox Fruit's graphics, but Blox Fruits recently has been going crazy with their vfx's on thier abilities, although I still feel like the maps texture's and vibe could to a bit of work, they have been putting out more content in general lately and It keeps it more fresh and enjoyable to play imo, I like that everything in the game feels obtainable and not like its going to take decades, although lately there have been some "exclusive" accessories lately and a new accessory trading system they are adding which has had me a bit worried.

worst part about the grinding is that it removes all exploration from the game because the most efficient way to get to max literally has you completely skipping zou, orang town, sphynx and arlong park. there is no absolutely no reason for a lvl 40 quest to give more exp then a lvl 70 quest. like bro easiest way to grind is starter (1+), sandora (10+), shells (20+), baratie (40+), land of sky (105+), gravitos fort (160+) then fishman island (190+) untill max god damn lvl. you stay on 1 island for like 300 lvls. you can go to second to grind if you want but its literally pointless.

For me gpo lost its magic as the br/free update got out because i was expecting gpo to be as before with the normal game content. I loved the live bosses like krampus and cupid but as i tried br i saw how the game was falling apart with the trading and hackers problem and i couldnt stay with this game after the horrible update 7

I could go to my friend home with my phone in my pocket and enjoy some blox fruit or shindo life, but for gpo, not only does it require a computer; it has to be good enough to handle the graphics. It could have had like 20-50k players if it could work on mobile and console
There are multiple problems with that. Mobile would probably be too difficult to even put in, and most phones won't handle it. For console, Microsoft is too stingy so they made Roblox games for Xbox only allowed to have things in the game that was made specifically for Xbox.

started to play gpo, was given a fruit by begging and got it from a friend, started grinding easily with quake's waves, had to go another island after easily doing quests, quit because the oneshot waves became a 5-6 shot because npcs now oneshot me... skill gap i guess.
New players failing to be able to fight bosses because of the difficulty curve is not a skill issue, its a failure on the devs part for not balancing or adding a tutorial.
GPO Combat will permanently have the infinite wall combo problem as long as ground combos are a thing which is what differentiates it from other games so there is no fix for that
GPO Level locking BR is annoying, no one will grind just to play BR. I tried getting a friend to hop on to play a BR with me for fun but he couldn't due to the level lock. I'm not about to tell him farm the levels in a boring ass bandit beater to play BR with me.

Locking weapons behind the battle pass sucks since if you don't like battle royal you will never get them.
The thing is if you don't like br you will probably have like 5x harder life in gpo since leg chests are so valuable and without them you can try to flip some items but one mistake and you can go back in trades and spent another 8 hours of grinding trades
The main reason gpo was even good was because of the good animation and combat system. The game lacked updates and was not as fun as other games

Another problem I've observed is GPO lacking any consistent balances or patches. Let's take Deepwoken, which updates WEEKLY with new balances, changes, reworks, etc, etc. This weekly model keeps the playerbase extremely strong, and the metanis is always shifting. Therefore, it keeps the pvp scene relatively interesting. GPO lacks all of that. The PvP scene has practically remained untouched and believes that's a massive reason why people are bored.

techy definitely made some good points about how gpo's paywall gave it status which made people automatically think more highly of it, and that phoeyu didnt manage the updates after making it free properly, but i feel like the main problem is something basically nobody who used to play gpo brings up: the game just wasnt that good.
the problem with a lot of games, like blox fruits, is that they just straight up arent good, so they basically HAVE to rely on consistent updates and/or tons of content to stay alive. i have talked a lot about this before, but roblox players play roblox games, no matter how bad they are, because they are either young and cant tell good games from bad games, or have been playing since they were young and refuse to admit its bad, whether its subconsciously or not.
its true that all games, roblox or not, do depend on consistent updates and lots of content to some extent, but the truly good games, like yba, can keep a consistent fanbase for way longer without doing as much effort because the game is already pretty solid. ill admit, yba isnt the best, and it has a good amount of flaws, but its arguably a top 5 roblox anime game and it has been able to build up a pretty solid fanbase for a long time now. also, building up a fanbase like yba does require a decent amount of luck, do so does maintaining a games popularity in the first place.
also, if anyone actually decided to read any of this, im guessing a few people arent going to like that i basically said the majority of roblox isnt good, so i invite anyone to give me reasons why gpo, blox fruits, and 3-5+ other games on roblox are actually good. ill wait.

@@LilKrysy well its kind of harder to say that it's good now, back when it first came out to right before uzukee went on that hiatus, the game was undeniably good. Over the course of 2 years or so, yba was able to develop a strong fanbase that persevered through that long drought.
@@LilKrysy He ain't wrong. It has some of the best combat of any Roblox game, the grind isn't as atrocious as other games, and the replayability is solid. There are so many builds you could make with one spec and one stand alone.
G.P.O doesn't have any of that. Its combat is just A.B.A's. (Which sucks.) The grind is monumentally abhorrent, and, at best, you can switch fruits, weapons or specs if you want to try something different. Even then, those aspects of the game are gatekept through horrendous time-investments that simply do not feel worth it, afterwards. Like I said, the grind sucks. (I spent hours grinding for Bisento and my first legendary fruit. I wish I could have those hours back.)
The only thing G.P.O had going for it was the effects, and other games are already catching up, now.
Long story short, G.P.O is a turd wrapped in gold paper, but Y.B.A is a diamond in the rough. Uncut, jagged, and unpolished, but a gemstone all the same.

What i think they should do is focus more on the social-pirate aspects of the game. I want to see more complex crew systems (which they sorta confirmed) and aspects that make it feel more like an adventure game than a bandit beating game. It would be so cool if your crewmate could be captured and sent to impel down, and you and the rest of the crew would have to save them. It would make combat actually matter if you could capture islands for your crew, gaining both notoriety and bounty for you and your crew, but have to defend it from other crews.

It had a low playerbase and Roblox updates eventually killed it, but some devs are trying to bring it back to its former glory. It's called One Piece Online Rebirth.

I feel like its exactly as you said. I tried replaying on my alt. I wanted to do it with just sword but struggled so much and i have 4 other accounts maxed. It was really boring and dry. I still got the account to max though because i traded my self fruits and items. Other new players dont have that so their is really no good reason for them to play. Especially including the low drop rates of most weapons.

Me personally, I quit gpo only because in br people were to sweaty and abusing op combos and it became boring overtime, and because it just became repetitive joining the game then getting destroyed in minutes without being able to do anything. On top of that in br if you cant get any good fruits or items you're basically dead again, without being able to do anything about it.

Those are only false bans for br that I know of, me on the other hand got banned because some kid wagered his jfit in a 1v1, lost, gave me his jfit, then reported me for beaming him.

I was one of the free players. I quit GPO basically because the game was absolutely impossible to progress in with the old paid players jumping and 1 shotting you every 2 minutes, while the game having so many players became so insanely laggy that while I enjoyed the combat, it became impossible to even play.

The sad thing is that when i started playing gpo it was when it became free, 4 of my friends bought it, and during that period they always would talk about the events such as cupid or the Easter event, and they just vanished, both the events and this 4 people activity because of "lack of content" or "I'm tired because everything is the same for months", I'm the only one still play it sometimes, and that seems like a pattern, project slayers for a perspective is basically going down the same road, with things non related to kny in general or just the lack of new things. In gpo think that the downfall was wen both the game became free and phoeyu just said "screw the problems that the game has now, imma add things nobody asked for now", basically, the majority of Roblox games at some point

I think the main idea of the popularity of paid access games, is that drive to come back knowing you spend real money on it.
Its a feeling we all get when you NEED yourself to believe you made a good purchase. Having better quality than bloxfruits was the number 1 factor. Making a game like gpo free would be such a short lived victory as people will realise the intense grind of gpo and just quit with no real incentive to come back

What I think is that many people that pay to play the game, stick with it even with the game getting no updates, because they paid for it. But now that people don't have to pay for it, they feel no dedication to the game

I farmed fruits every day from kraken and notifier codes traded the fruits to items and better fruits every day for months (my goal was to get all seeing eye). I was very close to getting it but then the battle royale update came out. It made the all seeing eye price sky rocket because of the new buffs to it in battle royale etc. and it make the fruit value drop so much (Almost all my stuff was fruits). Thats why I quit
yeah battle royale sucks it ruined the economy but also stabilized it with chests being a set value.
I hope GPO breaks and crumbles until not a single player is playing it. Phoeyu already made god knows how much, he didn't deserve a single cent of it and yet people continue to support him saying " I hope this update revives GPO " like man. preaching nothing but facts man. honestly i feel like one of their biggest mistakes was not doing anything with alabasta. it was a massive area with so much potential but they did absolutely fuck all with it and it just became a massive nothing burger with an enemy gimmick that got old after 20 minutes, a racetrack that everyone forgot about not even a day after release and a boss gimmick that made it annoying to farm. new enemies, events, items and maybe even a ponyglyph system could have been introduced, but then again it’s phoeyu. still holding out for the day a developer with the passion and creativity of Vetex comes out with a one piece game that doesn’t follow the same overdone formula we’ve had for the past couple of years.
I swear its not listening to the community that kills every game, then when their game dies, they hurry and try to update and add new stuff, which makes it scuffed, then people get more disappointed. They just made it free to make the players buy the things in shop, to basically get anything good, you need to buy hundreds of worth of robux to get items to trade for actual good stuff, not to mention they still left many exploitable bugs, and didn't bother to do anything about the hackers at all. I don't recommend playing the game if you're a starter, the grinding is so hard, the first islands are hard. And the most salty thing is the people who bought the game before it went free, got a fedora. a worthless fedora other hundreds of thousands of people have. I was disappointed at them when all I got was a single idiotic fedora. Not to mention the toxic community. All of these points ruined such a good game.

Good content. Everything you mention is all correct, however, I do have my own idea for just 1 part (new player are just purely skill issue and does not need lower difficulties, why lower diff when old players fought days for it :troll:)
You have a point but still free release was a disaster strictly because people couldn’t enjoy the game for many different reasons mainly being the difficulty curve and the community being toxic

I played gpo when it costed robux and tried to come back to it recently since I was bored and was still at shells town and got annoyed because it felt like I immediately died if I didn't block one time and I just got swarmed at the boss which made it feel impossible go beat, so then I decided to just go back to blox fruits or any other game
when i heard about gpo creating a battle royale i was immediately repulsed and knew exactly what would come of it, never touched the battle royale though, let alone gpo since

As a F2P guy but always values PVE more than PVP cause i have a skill issue.
The most HONEST thing you said and the most RELATABLE is the BR update, all of the paid community hates it even F2P players.
gpo is definitely better overall but so many things out it down, like P2W stuff and being a grindfest
grinding should only be necessary if you have difficulty in the current place of the game, not necessary to progress
They could easily fix br by having certain things nerfed down specifically for br, like high damage barrages and giant aoe moves.

Uzukee is the creator of the game Your Bizarre Adventure a.k.a YBA, a anime game based on JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, last year or month the game has been dying due to no proper due to the optimization, lag fix, hacker everywhere, skin grinding too much, duping skins, skin tier list went down and went up for no proper reason, as people trust tier list who was more popular, all just rking and gang wars people and asking for 1v1 in public servers. Until uzukee went out of his mind, he decided to not focus on the skins but to focus on the actual game, uzukee fixes some of the problems player faced. Like fixing the lag and balancing the game mechanics and most especially, giving us more new rework and update. The game still continue to run and well unlike Phoeyu who releases update tons of months.
Ngl, When GPO is release to be free, It was really a hell grinding but until i got to the max level. I kinda forgot GPO after project slayer released.
I honestly agree with everything you're saying bro. Last time I played the game the thing I hatted the most was having to go to the blackleg trainer all the time to get skills when they could just put into the stat menu plus they take too much statpoints so everytime I level up I barely even get stronger.

Yikes, 15k price tag on a battle pass probably be getting 0-10 purchases at best on that one. Should've put it at 1k - 2.5k would've gotten more robux than a 15k price tag because at least the children that play have a chance to get their parents to buy it or steal their mom's credit card (with less punishment.)
Also there's another huge issue with update GPO devs has made "recently", they added a REALLY BAD "anti-cheat" that sometimes reset your character for "noclip" when you have a bad ping or "fast"/"fast2" when you "too fast"... also when you're just using the Pika flight wich is rlly dumb ngl.
the thing is, you need a really good pc, i have a good one and i had to wait like 10 minutes, enter and exit countless times for it to work
MAN OH MAN.. back in the day, gpo was a dream bruh. Like me and my group of friends fighting strong bosses with bomb gum etc, At one point I even used to dream about magu in real life. Now I have 3 max alt accounts with magu pika and mera.
The fact u have to get the fucking weapons in the battlepass makes is really boring bc it takes you sooo long to get lvl max on the battlepass.
And they are imited, giving advantage to players who played the game earlier than you.
