@@imk9118 99.99% of the times they change to steel types. In some rare instances they have a different typing but that’s usually a gimmick the card set is introducing.
I'm guessing they'll change the type, require a single energy of at least one of the types, and make them strong enough to be worth the dual energy requirement

After completing the first win streak event, I used that deck and conceded on the 30th turn if my opponent's mental fortitude hasn't been depleted entirely lol.

I want to see balance. Decks are already very powerful and consistent, and adding cards to the pool can only make decks stronger. I hope they are able to balance the cards well enough to avoid having to ban anything.

I am SOOO excited for A2, Johto is my favorite region by far. I'm hoping the starters will get good EX cards. Seeing more Dark and Steel types would be awesome too. I'm excited for the gym leaders of course but some Rocket Executives would be cool to see too. It'd be really cool to see a Team Rocket themed expansion in the future too ^-^ Praying for Rare Candies and more item cards. I'd love to use Meganium, Ampharos, Ttar, Heracross and others in decks so I'm really hyped for this expansion. Like someone else mentioned below I hope they'll add more deck spaces too.
I think the weakest right now is still normal type because they lack energy generation. So perhaps they will boost that type. Dark type is not really mainstream so they will also work that up. They also need to make stage 2 Pokémon more viable. Venasaur, Dragonite and etc just don’t see that much play because it’s just luck to see if you draw them or not.
Aside of the premium pass I haven't spent a dollar on pokegold and still having hourglasses stocked for the new expansion I have the majority of cards from both sets missing like 3 in mythic Island and like 7 in genetic apex, with patience and luck you should be able to get the majority of them and trading is still something to wait on and see how it works

Only 30% of the Jotho Pokemon are amazing but we introduce to pokemons that needed evolution in gen 4 to be seem Viable. At least Houndoom is coming but also Tyrouge comes in these set as well making either A Hitmonchan/Hitmonlee be good or they will make the 2 cards seperate and be independent from one another.
I’m expecting trading to go live in A2 but most likely have tons of restrictions on it maybe we can only trade from apex and no trading crown rares I dunno looking forward to it

3 is a lot. Honestly for the powercreep and health of the game to get your hands on things I much prefer those 1 pack mini sets. Release one of those every 2 months. MAYBE one set of 3 packs per year in addition. even that is alot of cards if they keep up the schedule. Hoping they are just trying to get the card pool to a certain level and then will slow things down.
you know dark Tyranitar EX will be a menace ... so much so that Fighting will end up being the meta deck.. Chuck supporter is gunna help Other EX will be the starters, ho-oh and lugia, probably the dogs.. but i'd bet all my money on Skarmory, Steelix, Houndoom and Ttar
286 cards is kind of a turn off for me. That’s way too many this early on in the game. It already takes a long time to get cards if you don’t spend money. I felt the mystic island set was more manageable and didn’t take as long to get most of the cards. I’d rather they did more smaller sets more frequently then huge sets less often

maybe this new rarity refers to pokemon tools, cards that you can "equip" to your pokemon for many different effects, after all, equip items started on Gen 2.

However what that said when it comes to Togepi and Sneasel I want them to do what they did for Greninja I want Togakiss and or Weavile to be released with them so that they're actually good cards worth playing.

New rarity should have constant animation. Like, a 3D model doing an idle animation or reacting to being hit and attacking. Preferably without a stupidly long play animation like Ex cards have. Really don't like that I have to wait so long to play cards when I have multiple Ex to play. Either way, I'm praying that my boy Bugsy doesn't get shafted and we get a good bug-themed deck. Ledian, Ariados, Yanma, Forretress, Scizor, Shuckle, and Heracross, a few of you better be cards that can get some playtime. Especially you, Shuckle; bring that juice to the game.
Everybody that plays Pokemon TCGP let’s start a new trend. Go to the community showcase for 10 minutes or more a day like every thing that you see and then select the refresh button. rinse and repeat. this is only an idea you don’t have to if you don’t want to.

I've collected 1500 cards f2p so far, playing almost from the beginning. And i am still missing 1 garados ex, 2 arcanine ex, 2 amphizel, 2 raichu (with the 140 damage) and 1 pikachu ex. Getting kinds frustrating now
my question is, how will baby Pokemon work? will you have to place those first now? I think that it'll be for that set specifically, so A2 pikachu needs pichu but other pikachus don't, maybe?

I think it's safe to assume that the new expansion will have some meta decks. Might be worth just trying to get the essential stuff (leaf, Erika, sabrina, misty) and save hourglasses for A2
They said trading will be coming on January still no new update or confirmation on that it may come when when A2 releases and can be for trading A1 cards for starters
Just hope lot of A1 Cards will be still playable when A2 is released but this depends who much is the HP and Damage increase on the new cards if every new stage 2 card has way over 200 HP think old cards are not really playable anymore

Celebi travels in between Kanto and Johto in canon, so it gets a pass for being added with the Gen 1 legendaries.
Because of this it was the perfect Work done to include it if next Packs are around gen 2

Why do people want pseudo to have ex, maybe pseudo should be more like Dragonite where it have OP attack and high hp.

The only thing folks care about in reality is the trading section and will they open up the secondary market, plan a simple.
Scyther/Scizor are my favorite pokemon so I'm excited for them and Ttar is my favorite member of the 600 club and I can't wait to get my hands on that. I really hope it's good in the meta.

New rarity should have constant animation. Like, a 3D model doing an idle animation or reacting to being hit and attacking. Preferably without a stupidly long play animation like Ex cards have. Really don't like that I have to wait so long to play cards when I have multiple Ex to play. Either way, I'm praying that my boy Bugsy doesn't get shafted and we get a good bug-themed deck. Ledian, Ariados, Yanma, Forretress, Scizor, Shuckle, and Heracross, a few of you better be cards that can get some playtime. Especially you, Shuckle; bring that juice to the game.

Everybody that plays Pokemon TCGP let’s start a new trend. Go to the community showcase for 10 minutes or more a day like every thing that you see and then select the refresh button. rinse and repeat. this is only an idea you don’t have to if you don’t want to.
I wonder how they will implement the types for Scizor and steelix, as their would naturally be pre evolutions are grass and fighting respectively, and it would makes sense to assume the Scizor and steelix will be metal

I've collected 1500 cards f2p so far, playing almost from the beginning. And i am still missing 1 garados ex, 2 arcanine ex, 2 amphizel, 2 raichu (with the 140 damage) and 1 pikachu ex. Getting kinds frustrating now
my question is, how will baby Pokemon work? will you have to place those first now? I think that it'll be for that set specifically, so A2 pikachu needs pichu but other pikachus don't, maybe?
idk I was curious about how it worked in the real card game too, so I looked up some pichu cards. I’d assume you may put it down like a basic and evolve it into the next stage, but the next stage could be a basic on its own? Idrk

I think it's safe to assume that the new expansion will have some meta decks. Might be worth just trying to get the essential stuff (leaf, Erika, sabrina, misty) and save hourglasses for A2
Some of my favorites from gen 2 are phanpy/donphan and the Feraligatr line. Maybe they'll add a miltank that will be annoying too

More than likely, baby pokemon will be stand alone basic mons with good abilities that help their respective types
They said trading will be coming on January still no new update or confirmation on that it may come when when A2 releases and can be for trading A1 cards for starters

Just hope lot of A1 Cards will be still playable when A2 is released but this depends who much is the HP and Damage increase on the new cards if every new stage 2 card has way over 200 HP think old cards are not really playable anymore
