Two things came up for me with this video. One is Fear. Like you mentioned in another video, stepping out of living with fear, fear of not having enough, fear of not working enough. A friend of mine had to move back to Europe after not being able to handle our work ethic. She had to move back to where family and time to enjoy life were more important than the amount of hours a person works or how much money is coming in. Which says a lot to how we work in North America. And two, when you mentioned not fighting so hard in bringing what you need to you, it reminded me of the card from the Sacred Rebels deck, Softly Softly the Tender Touch, the card I’m working on right now. It’s such a wonderful card (and an amazing deck). It’s a card that lets us breathe. And know we don’t have to fight so hard.
I love your videos, how they feel like a conversation amongst friends. You're raw and true while keeping the softness. Seeing beauty and magic in being human is a true gift.
Much gratitude for sharing your insights. Thanks for reminding me about this gem of a deck. From listening to your video I realise how appropriate it is for me to work with it now.
This video is exactly what I need right now... I resonated with so many things you touched on it’s unreal, thank you for sharing and although I don’t have that deck in particular I need to look through the decks I have to see which one wants to speak to me at this time regarding my current situation, this was very timely for me. Again thank you so good to know I’m not the only one.
Just finished watching the video: this message of compassion was really timely for me. I am in a season of mothering that is full of change and new ways of relating to my grown children. It’s been quite an adjustment for me as a mom and I realize I need to give myself the gift of compassion. Change is hard for me as a Taurus (lol) and I haven’t allowed myself the compassion needed to adjust. Thank you for this message....I may need to purchase that oracle deck💗
i've always been attracted to Wild Kuan Yin deck, but don't have it yet. I think she goes really well with living by the ocean. Deeper, soul work! The one ritual i did, dedicated to her, was like a strong, motherly, hug. like, "i got you" hug. she also gave me a beautiful message. Kuan Yin & Water = Powerful Empowerment to me. I love the Fire Goddesses, Dark Mothers, but a compassionate Mother isn't any less fierce. Just not so demonstrative, as contemplative ...
Thank you for your beautiful videos, and your wonderful soothing voice🌺 Interesting how you mentioned being a Taurus, and the Wild Kuan a Yin is so full of these amazing Taurus representations, more dynamic and vivacious than our Westernized representation of the domestic cow/bull which goes from passive to angry, to consumed in a hamburger. These Yaks make me feel like my own Moon in Taurus needn't be so "heavy", so fixed, that the Taurean energy has a great vitality to it❤️
That makes sense to me about the peace of having our things around us. For me, certain things of mine (particularly spiritual items, decks, books, etc) are part of my spiritual tribe in a way. Those things are an important part of making and creating my space in the world, and without them I feel slightly unmoored. 💗
Is the first edition Wild Kuan Yin Oracle still available? I ordered it and they sent me the new revised edition! I want the full sized guidebook! I'm kicking myself for not ordering it sooner right now!
While I normally resonate and enjoy Alana's guidebooks, I personally feel that she missed the mark and that the art of the Wild Kuan Yin Oracle cards capture the essence and spirit of Green Tara (who is revered in Tibet) rather than Kuan Yin.

Nice but the gory picture of the dead/posessed guy is kind of distracting tbh
