Brilliant idea. I always wanted to display my ancestor's photos in a more meaningful way than just sticking them around the house. This is such a good idea!
Thank you for sharing this, your ancestor altar seems to have a very calming aura about it. I do not have one at this time, my only sacred space right now is my outdoor nature shrine, and it is very zen-like in the sense that it is the negative space itself that it sacred, and not the stuff that goes into it. I love how everyone is so unique in expressing their spirituality through altars, shrines and sacred spaces.
