Vault Visit: Exploring HSP's graphics collection

In this video recorded first as a Facebook Live event, Dr. Elizabeth Milroy explores maps and prints that show the development of the city of Philadelphia. Recorded from the vaults of the Historical Society of Pennsylvania on December 15, 2023.
Dr. Milroy was on the editorial committee for HSP's recent publication Two Hundred Years: The Historical Society of Pennsylvania, 1824-2024. She contributed eight essays to the book, focusing on objects that show the growth of the city and its built environment. Several of those graphic objects are featured in this video.
