I like the idea of the radios being in reach of both crew but not sure how well it works with a centre stick in turbulance, I imagine it is a bit of a swap hands job to keep the aircraft steady and put in the freq. How do you find it?

Fair point, the C42 factory build also has this configuration but lower and I’ve never had an issue operating the Avionics even in the roughest of rough conditions (our school uses them). To favour one side over the other for me also brings issues of dexterity and hand juggling. If like me, you regularly fly two up, reaching over the centre stick has a bigger concern especially during a busy ATC phase. Personally its one I needed to resolve for this and other builds. It’s a very practical location, the SKR stick is also further back in flight creating more space to operate. Hope this helps understand my reasoning and thoughts?

@@wingnutshomeofmicromainten6946 very interesting. I suppose the ultimate more expensive option is to fit a slave head (as used on tandem aircraft) on the right and have the controls to the outside ends of the panel. On training aircraft you have two crew but on this if not for training I would put it all to the left. That said it is down to customer mission.
