With launch events taking place in six cities worldwide - London, New York, San Francisco, Seoul, Singapore and Istanbul - LG G3 aims to redefine the definition of a global smartphone for global customers.
LG's reputation in the display arena is second to none and the development of the G3's breathtaking Quad HD display was the result of years of innovation in display technology. With a pixel density of 538ppi, the G3's Quad HD display sets a new viewing standard, producing images that are sharper and clearer than traditional smartphone displays. At 5.5-inches, LG G3 boasts a screen ratio of 76.4 percent with thin bezels all around so the phone feels as comfortable in the hand as a smaller traditional smartphone.

These guys have come a long way since the Optimus G and Nexus 4. Glad to see the competition heating up.
With their vertical integration in manufacturing batteries, displays, etc, LG is uniquely positioned to challenge Samsung in ways that HTC and others can't.
Seems way better than the Galaxy s5. But personally I prefer a slightly smaller phone than boht of them.
Maybe the inspiration for the next nexus?

This was my first big upgrade after the black berry and it definitely was one of the best phones at the time and i think it could keep up with other phones og 2018. I subsequently got a G6 and then switched to samsung s10e, but man, there is just something with the G3 that makes me miss that phone.

This phone is beyond impressive, but I'm not just talking about the looks. I'm a person a who loves to root my Android phones because of the customization option. With this phone, there's so much built in, I don't think I have to root it. I can even customize my navigation bar. Simply impressive LG, you hit the ball out of the park. I applaud you.

As long as this doesn't have the sketchy policy contracts similar to LG's TVs then this phone is pretty amazing.
