Love this movie!! All the cast members played incredible roles, love learning about how special forces were formed for the greater good...My daughter loved it as well on the edge of your seat goodness...

Such a pompus narcissistic assmunch, couldnt get a word in without him saying something about how awesome and handsome he was and his new movie I am #4 was going to make him so famous. I hope 15 years has aged well into the positive... I know I've changed, but I still remember.
Based on some of his interviews of late, I would say he has at least become aware that he was a pompous ass for a while. He revealed that he has been diagnosed bipolar, and has begun addressing and admitting that he’s words like “I’m building an empire” and thinking of himself to be very important. To the point that he became suicidal and almost actually did kill himself, which is what led to him finally seeking help. So, based on what he has said and what you are saying now, I would think that he’d probably apologize to you. To be clear, I’m not a super Alan fan or anything. Never even seen Reacher and I only want to see THIS movie for Henry. I’ve just seen some of the articles coming out from Alan and found your comment affirming of what he was talking about. It is nice to see people grow up.

Not really, when you think about it. IB was a rip off of historical fact. This is at least about real people. Whether the story is being padded or not isn’t the point, you are comparing a fictional story with this and that’s not exactly the same.
It’s a war that went on for years there is so much that happened that filmmakers can draw upon for inspiration, people have been doing it for decades. Both directors have used parts of history but they are about two different groups, one is following a British group of men that were trained very differently from the rest of the army and one was a mixed group but mostly of Jewish soldiers and Americans they are not the same. I think you have to also remember these are movies to entertain you they’re not historical documentaries. Maybe watch it first before you judge it?
