- hey guys! it's elma. in this video i'm starting a digital kpop journal on my ipad 2019. i really enjoyed making the spread, let me know what you think of it!

so glad more people are digital journaling! I have my journal entirely on my iPad and I love it so much. There’s so many more options for spreads since your sticker and photo collection is basically as large as the internet. It’s been so fun for me, I hope you enjoy it!

this is such a good idea because i've wanted to start a journal but all of my supplies for one never showed up due to the pandemic, but my ipad is coming soon !
Just a quick tip if you’re editing stuff on procreate, delete or disable your background and export as PNG and you won’t have to crop out the background bc it will automatically be transparent :)

My normal k pop journal only has 15 to 20 pages left and I can’t buy a new journal because of quarantine so I’m definitely doing this ! Thanks for the inspiration uwu

This is such an amazing idea cuz I love journaling but I always seem to forget about it (and is also can’t print out pictures most of the time cuz our printer sucks and the bad pictures make me mad) and you have so much more freedom and it’s totally chill to mess up cuz you can just delete it

@@gyuside same! I actually use a really cool font which makes it look like good lettering sorry . I have also added a texture overlay on the layers because it looks soo cool with the newspaper background.And this video is also rlly cool.I don't use a stylus cause my palm touches the side of the tablet and its annoying .But I still like my journal.
This is really usefull for people who don't have stationery or a printer but I personally think it's more productive, healthier and fun on a actual journal, but still it's really usefull
i agree, it doesn’t really replace a physical journal for me but it’s still fun to do on the side!

Really love this. I always wanted to journal but I didn't have the funds. I saw this before being gifted this exact iPad in black. tysm I'm not creative and i am trying to get back into writing and reading this helps a lot because idk how to even start a spread as good as these

You can use other drawing apps like IbisPaint x to do the trick. It works just as well

Maybe it's weird but I've seen that the app has a lot of options, so I wonder if there is any option that allows you to copy your own letters and paste it elsewhere (but not as an image but as text)👀🤔

I am saving my money at the moment to buy an Ipad and an Apple Stylus pencil! Currently I have 120 bucks but i'll get 20 bucks every month so it will take a while heh

hello! i really liked this idea and i am now using this app for an anime journal, could you tell me how you put the kpop pictures on top of eachother without it going behind the other picture?
it depends on the order you drag the pictures into goodnotes!! the picture you dragged last will be on top of the picture you dragged first if you know what i mean. it takes some trial and error but it should work in the end!
Where did you find the stickers? I’m trying to look for digital stickers lol and yours looked so nice!
i got them from pinterest!! i just looked up ‘journal stickers’ :)
I do have stationary but I don't ahave photos beacuse I am still a kid but my dad (like he knows about me being fan of BTS but I'df I tell him I needed pictures of them )....

you don't need a Apple Pencil that expensive. You can go on amazon and look for stylists that mimic a Apple Pencil for a affordable price !
maybe you can look for an alternative! there are also cheaper styluses that work quite nicely :)

Look up in the sky it’s a bird, it’s a plane! i usually write about my biases, comebacks, birthdays, ships, anniversaries, or sometimes i just write about my day!

What exactly do you write about in kpop journals? Does it even have to be about kpop or is it a journal with kpop decorations?
i made a separate video on how to start a kpop journal where i explain more about this! i usually write about my ults, comebacks, birthdays, but sometimes i’ll also write about personal things and just use kpop decorations :) it really is up to you!
@@gyuside Thanks for replying! I tried doing the cropping on the stickers (I used picsart cuz it’s easier) but it kept making the background white instead of it just being the sticker and I tried cropping it with GoodNotes but when it’s circular, it doesn’t look good + it sometimes still has white edges. How did you crop it so well? I can’t tell what you do in this video. Thanks!
i actually had the same problem with the white edges! maybe it helps to find a transparent picture on google? but in general i just tried to crop it until it looked somewhat decent haha

honestly a lot of the time i’m not sure what to write about, but i just try to pick certain things and go in depth about them! if you’re not sure what to write about you can always fill up the page with pictures, stickers & washi tape :)
