You inspired me to buy this bath from Lowes today. Luckily it’s winter so this bath was on clearance for only $32! The remaining ones looked to be pretty beat up and damaged but I found a pristine one and I’m very excited to set it up this spring! I’ve been looking at estate sales for bird baths but they were way too expensive, luckily I was able to grab this one at an amazing price.
Congrats, I hope you will like it as much as I like mine. I have had mine almost 3 years and it is still going strong. Keep me posted how you like and and if you get any bird visitors :).

Also where I live I'd like if our store had winter plants. I'd buy them in winter and keep them indoors and plant them in the spring.

Apart from evaporation of the water by the sun, concrete is porous, so it would probably be a good idea to seal the concrete bowl to help retain water. I'm in Australia and haven't seen a square bird bath before. I like it, it's a bit more modern looking. Will keep my eyes open for one.
Pro: Classic clean style that all birds can access, cleanup should be easy. Con: One fat robin can splash all of the water out, plus a super hot day will make it evaporate away quickly.
I will give you that. . . if you just put a little water in it, on a hot summer day here in south texas it does evaporate rather quickly. I tend to put fresh water in every couple days so not too big of an issue for me.
