- What happens when one of your flippers seems "weak?" What could cause that? I investigate on m y 1979 Bally "Paragon" pinball. But the cause of this could happen on any game regardless of era. Let's take a look at how the flipper works and the different things that can cause "weak" flippers.
In part 2, I show you what was wrong and demonstrate that it's now fixed.

Huh. Interesting. I guess I just assumed a "restored" game had flippers that were completely rebuilt. You learn something new every day
Thank you so much! My ‘78 Bally Playboy had the exact same problem (I thought it needed a new flipper mechanism so I haven’t been playing it). I just watched your video, tightened a loose hex bolt and now the flipper plays like new!
This channel is SO educational for my dumb ass. 👍🤙
We all have to start somewhere. We've all been there before.
Thanks - I had the same issue. All fixed now! 🙂
Always good stuff from you. Thanks! Paragon is a great game.
...or it might be a disconnected wire on the flipper, like mine
Its called a set screw. Great video.
Grub screw
I checked the left flipper of my Game Plan Sharpshooter and it was weak… but there was no play or as I call it slop. Have you actually worked on rebuilding a flipper assembly in the past?
Grub screw?
Set screw
lol, yea, I finally remembers in part 2 ha ha
