These songs are a big part why Wiess is my favourite RWBY character. Not only can I can relate to her songs on a lot of levels, but they beautifully show the characters dovelopment she went through from before the series started to now.
Most of my favorite music has a sort of message or meaning that I can relate to, And the RWBY soundtracks are no different. Weiss's songs speak to me in a way that I find similar in my life where I get criticized or told what or how I do things. I feel i'm going my own pace and Im definitely getting closer to moving on with my life, but its still too slow for them, and since it sounds like an annoyed command instead of a calm request, It just upsets me that I just want to escape into my own space.

**SPOILER WARNING**
Is it me or is Weiss's backstory is very similar to Salem's? They were both dealing with cruel fathers who didn't give them the freedom to do what they want with their lives, as well as dealing with being isolated from the outside world. Here is the difference. Salem was saved by Ozma. Jinn mentioned that she found her freedom in the person who saved her, falling in love with him in the process. When he died, she simply couldn't handle the grief leading to her actions that ultimately made her the big bad of RWBY. Weiss had to fight for her freedom because there wasn't anybody else who was going to save her from her fate. If she achieves her goal, it would be worth it because she is becoming less lonely and a warmer person as a result.

well eruption mentioned that weiss is based off of snow white so her being isolated is just from that, but you bringing up salem adds to something I've had on my mind for a while, salem is loosely based on the same 4 fairy tales as the main RWBY crew just using different aspects from each of them
I want to think they planned to make her and Salem fight with their own Grimm army, Weiss' White Grimm and Salem's Black Grimm which honestly would look awesome. Both being Generals of an army of monsters stare each other down from opposite sides of the battlefield as they stand tall amongst their subjects
Honestly, in terms of character development, Weiss was the only one they did not screw up.............I hope it stays that way past volume 7

I'm so happy you did these two songs! Weiss' songs are some of my favourites in the series and I love how they reflect and shed a little more light into her development and character story.

Maybe it's just me but I really like the desing of the mansion in vol 4. The fact that it's in 2d should be less impressive but I think it accent the beauty.

Glad you're still doing these the music is probably the best part of the show other than the early seasons choreography hell most of the time the song do a better job of telling the story than the show itself does

Yo Eruption Fang, look back at Adam's character short now that volume 6 is over, the ending is actually Adam coming back from his "death" from Yang and Blake, you can tell due to the scenery

@@Art-zp1qg They aren't canon. Rt and Jeff Williams have said on numerous occasions that the songs aren't considered canonical. IE they don't tell any truth about the backstory of the characters. And yes, I think this is stupid as hell.
