One day, we need to talk or write about the impact of T.D. Jakes & Noel Jones had on the church of the 90s - early 2000s. Truly, no words can describe the bond these two individuals have built over the last 40+ years together. Bishop Jones brought Bishop Jokes to the Greater Bethany/City of Refuge LA EVERY YEAR for their annual Winter Revival. Likewise, Bishop Jakes brought Bishop Jones to Potter’s House Dallas for many years to run their annual Spring Revival (God’s Gonna Make You Laugh, It’s Your Time, FEAR: Nothing To Play With). Together, they’ve walked more miles & have preached to more souls than many of us will ever be able to witness in our lifetime. I was there with my now deceased sister. It was Awesome. A group of Ladies flew from Chicago, and Ohio and we had a life changing experience.

THIS IS A PARADIGM SHIFT
What does a tag team mean in this context?
It’s equalivent to a tag-team match in wrestling. One person is in working, then goes to tag his partner and he hops in and takes it. Similar to this, see how Jakes and Jones go back n forth, one preacher goes then tosses it back to the other, then the other hops back in, that’s essentially what it is.
What’s the essence of it though? Is it to use their ability ( gift) to convey the word of God so as to build the faith of the believers?
