Though armored core as a franchise is older than me (Crazy am I right?) I still wish to spread my wings. Though I already played 6 till completion. The game was amazing, it was pure rush and fun, it was amazing, thank you for reviving this game series, So a new Raven like me could experience it.
6 was my first entry too. Since then I've had something of an AC phase, I've been emulating a bunch of the older games. The old-school Ravens weren't kidding, Last Raven is a tough nut to crack!

hey i could be wrong but i dont think thats supposed to be BJ, im pretty sure its the just the MainCharacter Raven, when i look at BJ's AC, the core is notibly different and so is the weapon. Plus, a karasawa, that he's using, is kinda of the MC weapon, wouldnt you say?

I was thought this would be interesting.... That the way they came up for all the ACs/Ravens in Arena, were the ACs of all the creators who made the game in some way. That they sat down, made mechs, and fought each other, whoever won the most was #1, and the worst, got the last place, then everyone inbetween, and got to name their own pilots/ACs.... Thought that would of been neat...
FromSoftware was 20 years ahead of you. That's basically the concept of the unlockable FromSoft arena in the disc 2 EX-Arena from _Armored Core: Master of Arena,_ verbatim. Don't know if it was an actual competition between them, or if the ranking was purely based on position/seniority, but every AC there was employee-named.
@@AeridesEntertainment Sadly, never got to play that one, i never got to play any of the PSX era ones. My first AC game, funnily, was AC2AA, then i played AC2. AC3, SL, NineBreaker, Nexus, then the PS3 ones. But still thought itd be a cooler concept for all the arena rankings.

@@drwilyecoyote5357 From what I've read, their main issue with AC6 is precisely what they're wanting to do with it. It's no secret that ACV and VD weren't so hotly received by fans (I liked them though), as AC4 and FA were loved and hated by some fans, and before then was loved by fans beyond the awkward control scheme, so I'm guessing they're trying to find a gameplay style that will appeal to all generations of AC fans. A shame that it's been two years since a confirmation that a new Armored Core is in the works, and nothing's come of it, but Dark Souls reaching critical acclaim is probably actually a great thing for Armored Core. Now that FromSoft isn't just a small developer in the shadows and it's recognized as among the much larger developers, Armored Core might finally reach some sort of popularity or even mass appeal.
