Question:- 1) Is there any way to identify intune device cpu information without running a script? 2) Is there any way to schedule device restriction policies based on time or geofence? Thanks for your response.
Response: Hello shabeelaboobacker352, 1) Yes, there are ways to identify Intune device CPU information without running a script. One way is to navigate to the Intune portal, go to Devices > All Devices, select the device you want to see the CPU information for, and then click on the Hardware tab. This will display information about the device's CPU. 2) As for scheduling device restriction policies based on time or geofence, this feature is not currently available in Intune. However, you can achieve similar results by using Conditional Access policies in combination with Microsoft Azure Active Directory. This allows you to set access controls based on various conditions, such as time of day or location. I hope this helps. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask. Thank you for reaching out.
@@PaddyMaddy26 Unfortunately there is no information about CPU other than CPU architecture either 32 64. Also entra conditional access policy does not recognize device restriction parameters. Appreciate if you could share article if any available.
1.use advanced analytics to get the inventory for cpu and model or you can use co-managed and use Sccm for more inventory 2. Scheduling with geofence is possible based on the country or Ip … and if you need in-depth try if you have Ad with Entrasync you can use ad based restrictions too

Hello nagulpashashaik, Microsoft Intune is a cloud-based endpoint management solution that helps organizations manage their devices and applications. It allows IT administrators to control and secure corporate data on devices, enforce security policies, and manage updates and apps. If you are looking to transition into cloud administration jobs, learning Microsoft Intune can be beneficial as it is a key component in modern IT environments. However, learning Azure Administration 104 will also provide you with valuable skills and knowledge for cloud administration roles. If you do not have coding knowledge, focusing on Azure Administration 104 may be a better starting point for you as it covers a broader range of essential skills for cloud administration. That being said, adding Microsoft Intune to your skill set can be a valuable asset and increase your job prospects in the cloud administration field. Ultimately, the decision on what to learn next should be based on your career goals and interests. I would recommend researching both Microsoft Intune and Azure Administration 104 to determine which aligns best with your career path. Best of luck in your learning journey!
