The fact that people are able to create such amazing structures amazes me, I'm proud of myself when I'm able to replace the tube on my bike, and people are out here doing stuff like this.
I am actually going to graduate as a civil engineer in a few months, and I can tell you, it is all about physics and maths at the end of the day. When I started my study I never thought I would be able to understand it, but if you focus on it for years and keep going eventually you will be able to get it if you have an iq of about 120 at least I guess. But changing something on your bike, requires practical skills, not brains. I suck at practical things as well. Engineers are good at the theoretical stuff, but the execution phase is done by workers, who do have that practical skill. If you would let the engineers design it, and also operate the cranes, pontoons, connect all the bolts and cables, pour the concrete, im pretty sure it is not going to be executed very well....
Yeah specially the ones who made factory machines 😮 how every part and mechanism works in almost perfect harmony, those stuff require precision and IQ more than 150 😮
Can you imagine if this were how kids were taught in school? Absolutely phenomenal information transfer and uptake rate. Zero issues with attention. Wow.
This is incredibly fascinating. While riding over the bridge from Maryland to King George VA. I always wondered how the bridge I'm riding on and the new bridge are built. Today I found out. My family will really think i'm smart when I explain this to them.
I am a Truck driver who was curious about the construction of bridges over water and watched this video... a few months later the Creator of this video is in my living room explaining to me that he has a YT channel. Sure enough i already seen one of his videos
I love finding out there are creations and systems in the world that are intelligently made and brilliantly conceived. Your videos give me hope for humanity - thanks
For people amazed at how people are able to create animation like; it’s either he in architecture, art, or just taught himself. But this video is very well done and easy to understand. Good job! 8.7/10
What I didn’t understand by reading 100 books was understood in 5 mins … I encourage you to make more such videos on construction field… ppl like you are making lives easy … outstanding 👍
Thankyou so much. Very curious topic. I'd appreciate another video on how the architects make sure the base is strong under water with all the river currents, soil erosion and stuff!
Very helpful video.I completely had no idea how bridge pillars can be installed underwater and now I came to know it.Nice video nice art work. This perfectly explains how river bridge is made. And I respect the bridge builders.Wonder of civilization and technology
Thank you for educational video . As a little kid I always wondered how these amazing feats of engineering were built . Please more videos like these and in more indepth
I have always wondered how bridges as such are built especially when it comes to the foundation pillars. Thanks for this video it has satisfied against my ignorance.
*Although I'm not a Civil Engineer but yet I could build a Bridge 🌉 because of your nice explanation. 😅! Really the way you have explained is appreciated*
Here are some basic mechanical Calculations if you are curious: We determine the max value of Weight and multiple it with the max distance possible that effect beam or any Weight carrier.. you get the Max Moment.. according to what safety level you're in .. you multiple it by X times to get the final planned Force.. like exactly in the middle of two vertical Ropes is always the max Distance where the max Force will apply.. multiple it with say 4 Factor for safety you get 4 Times safer Outcome.. That's how bridges don't even collapse in rush hour.. Any deeper than that it will look complicated but it's Fun :D
i have always been curious about how a bridge works and this gave me the basic idea and the explanation and animations were great.. could you make another video explaining the mechanics of how different types of bridges support the load (vehicles) ?

@@ducoh2093 not true though. An engineer requires both theoretical and practical skills.
Humans are truly amazing beings, imagine the God who created them!
Very easy to get a pinch puncture, your doing well😅.
Yeah specially the ones who made factory machines 😮 how every part and mechanism works in almost perfect harmony, those stuff require precision and IQ more than 150 😮
I've always wondered how they built bridge towers underwater. This makes a ton of sense!
Me too
Big mystery solved..
Sameee
Can you imagine if this were how kids were taught in school? Absolutely phenomenal information transfer and uptake rate. Zero issues with attention. Wow.
education system dumbs us
That’s why you as a teacher or professor can change that by adopting a different way of teaching style. Atleast that’s how I’d do it.
This is incredibly fascinating. While riding over the bridge from Maryland to King George VA. I always wondered how the bridge I'm riding on and the new bridge are built. Today I found out. My family will really think i'm smart when I explain this to them.
Ummm you are smart ,it’s called knowledge.that’s how people learn.😂
I'm terrified of that bridge!

excellent! i learnt more in 4 minutes than in a 4 year civil engineering course!! Good one!
You must be very smart. Buddha bless you.
You must be from india
True❤❤
I understood this faster than other 10 min videos🤦🏾😅😅
Me too 😂
Pretty True
🤣
100%
True

Me at 9PM: I need to get some sleep now.
Me at 3am: How a bridge is built over deep water
This is absolutely lovely and has served my curiosity of "how bridges are built " very innovatively...
What I didn’t understand by reading 100 books was understood in 5 mins … I encourage you to make more such videos on construction field… ppl like you are making lives easy … outstanding 👍
This video makes tonnes of sense and without unnecessary blabbering. Excellent summary
Thank you for taking the time to make this video. I am a visual learner and have always wanted to understand. This video makes perfect sense.

Finally I found a video, which explains about cable system, about cable spinning and how it goes installed. Thanks
wow the level of skill and knowledge of the person who first designed it.
I love these kind of videos. It's the kind of thing I am always wondering about.
