Can confirm. I have a 5 star Knight Errant and he hits for 65k no problem. If I get a set up he's hitting for 100k. Mind you, he's in a regen set.

How is the surplus dmg from A2 higher than the first critical hit?
I also don't understand. On paper it's supposed to be terrible since it doesn't crit. But surplus damage seem to do alot of damage. Might actually book that guy to nuke my waves in dungeons
It's simple. In these types of "extra dmg goes towards the rest of the enemies" abilities, the initial dmg's counter is capped at the hp of the target and the overflowing dmg is dealt on the other enemies. Since the second hit/dmg doesn't have an additional extra dmg spread ability, the 2nd dmg may or may not be higher than the initial dmg.
The defense value of those attacked has an effect as well. Let's say the original target had 10,000 defense. But just 10hp. The skill ignores half of it, so, it goes vs 5,000 defense plus the gear and etcs, so, something, not enough to keep the dude alive, but something, was mitigated.
Now, whatever's leftover, goes against the other dudes. Who doesn't have 10k def, just, say, 1 def. This values are exaggerated on purpose to see why. And it doesn't matter in this case how many hp's they got, because it only matters in the first hit, just to calculate what the leftover's gonna be.
So that's another reason. Cheers.

Because the main damage only counts till the hp of the enemy, then rest is inflicted on the other enemies

When everyone is godlike no one is, maybe introduce a "Very strong" rating between strong and godlike?

I don't think he was intended to be such a murderer as he is with that A2.
I think the way people used him originally with the mixed toolbag + accuracy emphasis is more balanced and less broken and probably why they are going to nerf. Why should a free champ be so good?
He's capable of breaking stoneskin just about, for an entire squad.

Yeah no they didn't nerf him and he's meant to do that. Surplus does that much damage. Take baron for example.
You do realize the stats he's using and the damage he's doing is not gonna happen in the arena? 😂 surplus scales on damage prior. Sun cannot hit for 200k in the arena on Champs with God like stats. You might be new and don't comprehend how dungeons differ from the arena. You can deal 2Million a hit on a turvold in clan boss and deal less than 90k in arena.
Also turvold hits for 1.4 Million on a basic team in clanboss. So Def not "4x turvold" when the dude only ever does that damage on a surplus and still not hit turvolds damage..

So how does the surplus do more than the actual hit?
Because the surplus dmg doesn't go anywhere if the target dies but in the initial dmg, any overflowing dmg will be dealt on the other enemies. The initial dmg showed is capped at the hp of the target while the surplus dmg showed is whatever the surplus dmg from the initial hit is.
I swear they made artak more powerful. He wasn't hitting for anything just a couple months ago but now he's hitting hard in live arena. Then you got Sun.... Dear God.
