    100% agree with you on the first tip, I started playing in April this year and the first couple of rounds I was just finding my bearings, then I started setting myself small goals.
    started with make one par and maximum of three triple bogeys, fast forward to now my goal is 4 pars and maximum 3 double bogeys. also the all the other tips are great.
    my last round I used an iron on 5 tee shots, got into tree trouble once and just played out and shot my personal best making 1 double bogey, 4 pars and even got my first birdie and added win my first round where I didn't lose any golf balls lol

      Sounds like good progress!
      My personal goals are no triples or worse, max of four doubles, and break 90 overall.

    Finally won a 2 day Championship tournament (qualification required from season long performance) I'd been chasing for 7 years. Key decision? Used 2 hybrid the entire 36 holes, never pulled driver once. As to chipping, you can choose to hit 1 club many different ways, which is a valid path if you put in the time.

    Maybe this video isn't aimed at me, but these tips are what I thought every golfer does?

    What ever cost me the most shots last round I practice before my next round, RUclips will get pounded too to try to find a fix. Hopefully finding fixes will get harder and harder.

    Front flag, use middle distance, middle flag, use back green distance. Back flag, add 5 to 10 yards,

      Back flag aim for flag number! To a back flag short is the correct miss!

      @@darrenrider5676 Agree with this. Aiming past back pin when the pin is 30 yards on doesn't make sense.

    Course management seems so simple when you do it all the time. Clearly it isnt though as I watch poor decisions being made on course time and time again...not only by others I can be guilty of not thinking as much as the next man 😢

    Course management is the only way to improve your scores, we all like to play miracle shots but how often do they come off.

    Nobody wants to follow the group ahead that’s assessing their chip/putt and green from every angle 🤦🏼‍♂️😉

      Don't have to take forever doing it, can quickly gather some info and will save time when you hit it closer 😏

    Why would anyone listen to a slicer ?

  • @dimtgco1428
    @dimtgco1428 7 дней назад

    No. Won't work. When you can't even come close to hitting the ball where it needs to go in the first place, and, you can't even predict how the next swing flaw correction will go, it makes no sense at all to follow a process that only works for good strikers.

    This seems like common sense, but so many golfers don't follow these pieces of advice. Being good at decision making is as much a part of the game as having a decent swing.
