love love loved this game!. Best helicopter combat sim i played. I especially liked the live camera feed in the cockpit. It was a really nice touch and only added to the immersion of been a commanche pilot!.

That lovely Novalogic voxel terrain. Looks great for a 1997 PC game, released the same year as Blood, Total Annihilation and Quake 2.

Look at the glorious voxel rendered terrain! Mid to late 90s is full of pc games with pretty good voxel renders

I only regret that so few games were released using Vortex engine. I really could play them all even today. For example "Delta Force" was amazing. I didn't have so much fun anymore with FPS after Novalogic ceased that series.

Yeah I thought the game looks a little bit familiar to Delta Force but I guess it was also made by Novalogic. Good game I still got it on my steam library.

Thanks, I was wondering what that orange horizontal antenna-thingy was for a while. Because I've seen this orange antenna thing on other reconnaissance-based aircraft. Such as the Fire Scout unmanned helicopter drone.
