ILC allows students to increase their learning skill by adopted many skills that will bring them to a new and wider perspectives of learning world. This approach is suitable as students nowadays need more skills for them to adapt in a fast pace environment. it is indeed a good way for students to increase their communication and social skills as these are one of the important skills needed for their future.
Love this interdisciplinary idea - and that it's set in schools in WI. I am teaching another interdisciplinary unit in Costa Rica now with my 3rd and 4th grade students. Great video!
It's a good approach indeed but it needs more understanding of the approach and commitments of all teachers in school. Many factors need to be considered such as classroom size, resources and teachers' and pupils' readiness.
