Thanks for looking at my route :) The Looe section included in TRS22 is infact an older version of what is included in my Cornish Railways route. I completely rebuilt the Looe branch section of my Cornish Railways route late last year, so the one is big route is the newest most accurate version, which I added much more detail to. In terms of missing assets I only have TRS19, which as long as you have the DLC routes listed in the route description the rest of the assets are on the DLS and should be no missing assets. Not sure why TRS22 is different. The route is as accurate as possible. It uses LIDAR height data which builds all the terrain including embankments and cuttings. And all scenery has been placed using aerial photography. Signal positions and speed signs I have used cab ride videos as well as the Network Rail Sectional Appendix and signalling diagrams to help place everything as accurately as possible. I also live in Cornwall so frequently ride on the lines and photograph the trains. The old piers beside the viaducts I have included still exist today in real life, they are the remains of Brunel's original timber span viaducts which the GWR rebuilt with masonary ones when they took over. I'm still rebuilding the Liskeard to Plymouth section with more detail and scenery - Done Liskeard to about a mile West of St Germans so far.
I do hope the video helps with the routes exposure. It is obvious it's a labour of love and it deserves to be downloded and played. I had to mention the missing assets as I know from previous videoes people will message if they have any negative experience blaming me, blaming you, blaming everyone as if its the end of the world. I hopefully showed that if it does happen the route will highly likely still load and still look and play great. I had a feeling the piers were for a previous bridge, its a great detail to have in and just shows the level of work you put in. I'll certainly check back in the future to see your progress.
Wish I had the PC for this 1GB route.... Even ECML is smaller than this and while I can drive other routes pretty fine, this one hits 100% CPU load on my QuadCore pretty easily.

Problem is not all work properly :D I only really started with session creation at that time and as such, they have a lot of problems. It was also my first encounter with "Interlocking Towers" system when creating a sessions. Last time I had the chance was in T:ANE in 2015 or 16, and the system has changed since then. Lost some functions while gaining other. I also tried to experiment with new ideas and something I could utilise for my own later project. So from the last 5 sessions, I would say only 3 work, while only 2 are at least somewhat playable, unfortunately I am not sure which ones are which anymore. I was thinking about updating and fixing them, but time constrains and pressure on one of my projects kept me from it. Edit: Here thanks to Marky, he shared the link to your video :)
Hey Richard. I'm sorry to hear the sessions aren't working as intended. Sessions can take allot of time to create and can easily become very complicated. They can also very easily break when trainz does an update. All of which has happened to me. My advice about your sessions is that if you want to update them do, but don't ever feel obliged to do so. And certainly dont do it because someone asks you to. The sessions were very helpful with the video though as it allowed me to show how to download the route from the DLS. Marky has done a great job with it and hopefully a couple of people will see the video and try it out :-)
Definitely. I have gotten better at creating sessions and it´s now one of my favourite things to do in the game. Made myself a simple system and set of rules to follow, which I shared in my tutorial videos for creating sessions. It´s a delicate and sensitive type of art for me :D I feel like I should update them and probably will in the future. I know how annoying it is to come across something not working properly in the game, so I want to create things in a way that this would rarely happen with my creations. If you ever feel like checking out some other routes, feel free to take a look at my releases. I usually work on smaller routes, but I am part of a bigger group for a large route, Central Europe. Thank You for this video showing Marky´s route. It is really well made and deserves more recognition.
Just downloaded and no missing dependencies. Blaming the game for upversioned dependencies is just wrong. Only the author of an asset can make a new asset version for upload, not the game and certainly not precaching assets or a database repair. The only other way is if the Content Repair Group were to repair an asset and give it a Trainz build version compatible with the DLS, usually for assets uploaded below version 3.7.
When you initially open the game theres a small window that opens. The button for the content manager is there. Once open choose download on the select box and so the search.
Does this add more stations, as i have the base game and it comes with a basic station, is there other options? Or will i need to download other ones in dlc?
I think it's assets would mostly be from the download station. I'm not sure if the creator has made their own but even so if you are just looking for stations then the download station is the place to go. You should find something there. Theres platforms, station buildings, invisible stations (which create passengers and where the train really stops in most cases). Open the game so you the little box. Click on content manager and in the drop-down top left change it to download. From there you can search.
Problem for me with current Trainzz is the absolute confusing payment model. Is it a subscription or do i own the base game, whats included, whats with those different passes?! arrrggghhhh
This route is a free download on the download station and not part of any Trainz purchase. RE subscriptions: This is the Trainz 22 sales page. It does list what you get with a sale and two of teh subscriptions store.trainzportal.com/pages/trainz-railroad-simulator-2022 With the two 1 year subscriptions listed here if you purchase before 1st Feb the base game and the routes that are included with it are your forever. With any other subscription yearly or monthly and if you purchase after the 1st Feb you only rent the game and do not own it. The only reason I bought the yearly "trainz plus" subscription is that it is cheaper than purchasing the game and you also get 1yr download ticket included worth £25.
You can buy the game outright or subscribe and get all the DLC too. Although at the moment 2022 is only available on subscription as it's still in pre-release.

I am new to this, I cannot find the download manager, there are some free routes in the game under Build, but the above is not one of them.
