Gav's compilation of saying 'Baby' literally gave me butterflies 🥰😂 Though they're a virtual couple, the chemistry is overflowing. Sometimes in some dramas though the characters interact physically, you miss the connection. Here I felt Cai's awkwardness and shyness with Gav and Gav's dorkiness and teasing towards Cai. They've made the right choice with this cast. Pearl you're representing all of us. If I were to rewatch my fav bl series, I would usually skip somewhere along the way to watch only my fav scenes. For gameboys, I didn't skip at all. Each episode and scene as well as the storyline as a whole were so good. Not to forget the leads' acting skills, really brought respective characters to life to the point I was taken by a wave of emotions. Frankly speaking, I was not so keen on giving this series a shot at first because I was not so into their looks. But all the other factors have made it up for me. Definitely listed on my top 3 fav BL series of all time.
Yup me too. Keep avoiding this series bcoz i was 'not into their looks' also. But i keep reading others comment about how good this series. So, i give it a shot. And now, i'm watching for 2nd time 😁
Yup, the hardest for most BL series lovers indeed. I remember watching it so many times that I lose count, in a 2-week period of time. That's just how superior its rewatch value is to other bl series, at least to me. That said, I understand why people of my sentiments and myself feel such a way that make us hard to move on. Gameboys touched on two essential issues in life that many people overlooked - LDR and acceptance on coming out, to which, they were portrayed in a most realistic way possible. I believe even people outside the LGBTQ+ community could relate to the LDR issues shown in the series. With respect to the acceptance, I feel like it kind of speak up for the "discreet people" in the community, given that coming out is the last thing you should think of especially when you're an Asian and raised in a homophobic environment. As a discreet person myself, I can really see myself through Cairo - the fear he's always had for being the person he thought everybody would've hated him for. But seeing Cairo accepted by his family for who he is, kind of gave me that sense of acceptance in a way that I couldn't explain, if that makes sense, but this aspect alone aside from the production aspects, is what I think has been making me cling to this series over and over again.
I have to say the consent part , In all the BL i have watched this is the first time i have heard it being verbally asked . It’s a breath of fresh air.

We not sure yet... I mean this is a start of new entertainment evolutionnn. BL Series just started to be known in PH. For sure there will be a A LOT OF BL AFTER QUARANTINE. LOOK AT NOW, Tony Labrusca and Jc Alcantara on Hello Stranger. I'm excited to it as well. But for sure if Filipino accept this kind of genre this two actor of Gameboys will leave a mark on the industry.

If I were to rewatch my fav bl series, I would usually skip somewhere along the way to watch only my fav scenes. For gameboys, I didn't skip at all. Each episode and scene as well as the storyline as a whole were so good. Not to forget the leads' acting skills, really brought respective characters to life to the point I was taken by a wave of emotions. Frankly speaking, I was not so keen on giving this series a shot at first because I was not so into their looks. But all the other factors have made it up for me. Definitely listed on my top 3 fav BL series of all time.

Yup, the hardest for most BL series lovers indeed. I remember watching it so many times that I lose count, in a 2-week period of time. That's just how superior its rewatch value is to other bl series, at least to me. That said, I understand why people of my sentiments and myself feel such a way that make us hard to move on. Gameboys touched on two essential issues in life that many people overlooked - LDR and acceptance on coming out, to which, they were portrayed in a most realistic way possible. I believe even people outside the LGBTQ+ community could relate to the LDR issues shown in the series. With respect to the acceptance, I feel like it kind of speak up for the "discreet people" in the community, given that coming out is the last thing you should think of especially when you're an Asian and raised in a homophobic environment. As a discreet person myself, I can really see myself through Cairo - the fear he's always had for being the person he thought everybody would've hated him for. But seeing Cairo accepted by his family for who he is, kind of gave me that sense of acceptance in a way that I couldn't explain, if that makes sense, but this aspect alone aside from the production aspects, is what I think has been making me cling to this series over and over again.
