I will try and make a video on how to get you started as soon as I have a chance, hopefully he already has the files installed that you will need. do you have a cable
I used an adaptor from 1320 electronics not sure if they are still in business, go to this video and in the description box will be links for hardware ruclips.net/video/UA3gdy5UkwU/видео.html
I've outright refused to buy any cars that aren't OBD2 because I generally install an ANDROID O/S Stereo or buy a low end phone on Craigslist, make it part of the Scenery. This is GREAT even if the Display is a little rudimentary. The DATA is important. #noted
With OBD1 it all depends on having the file's you need for your application, I would contact the developer to see if they are included if not you will need to do a search.
If you are referring to the phone any good android phone should work, when I made this video I believe I had a Samsung now I am using a Motorola, I also use an old cheep android tablet. Also make sure the files you need for your Ford are available other wise the app will be useless.
You can go to the aldldroid and see what if it has the adx file for your application, you can also go to the TunerPro website and see if they have the adx file you need. You may be better off with Tuner Pro and a lab top for instance Aldl Droid does not work with my latest phone. link to playlist ruclips.net/p/PL5AMhVA-RNuQ-gIqGdUdktX0orGjpxz6v
ALDDroid already has the ADX file included so you should be good to go as long as you have an android device and adapter. I only have experience on my base model 90 so I am not sure how well it works on your ZR-1 with the LT5, you could always go on one of the forums and ask if they are using it on there ZR-1 first to see how well it works on there LT5 first. If you do use it please mention in the comments so others will have learned from your experience. 😎
I will be having a video review of my new head unit which syncs with my phone allowing me to display ALDLDroid up on my head unit, should be out in a couple of weeks.
Doubt it, Torque Pro I believe is OBD2, the blue tooth adapter in this video is designed for OBD1, same as the software used in this video ALDLDroid is for use with OBD1
I love it. I want to do this in my 1995 omc cobra 5.0 ford engine. Boat gauges are terrible so this should help a lot.
Just make sure it supports your engine, you may want to contact the developer to make to find out.
I will be uploading a video on getting started in burning obd1 chips soon so subscribe and hit the notification bell.
I blew the trans on the Vette but if anyone wants more video on OBD1 tuning on my 90 corvette I can still make some videos without the trans.
Yes, continue to the chip burning. That would be good to see on video.
I am going to try and do a follow up video this week, so subscribe and click on the notification bell to keep updated.
Hi are you using an Dynamic efi pcm??

You´re right.
You can´t control what you can´t measure buddy.
I know this is old, but do ya think this would work with an old 1990 pathfinder/terrano
With OBD1 it all depends on having the file's you need for your application, I would contact the developer to see if they are included if not you will need to do a search.

if you are referring to the blue tooth adapter 1320electronics.com/12pin_ALDL_BT_MK2.html it's right there on the bottom of the web page.
@@E.T.GARAGE so does that mean that you have to use PayPal to buy it?
@@E.T.GARAGE nvm it says they are out of stock

How Much dud the Bluetooth Box cost

And the Blue tooth adapter?
Link is in the description box, may or may not still be available.
