Watching an "artist-craftsman" apply his skills is more than a pleasure, it is food for one's soul...thank you for sharing! I also note a heavy presence of an engineering mind in many of your solutions, both for your cues and for your working equipment and environment of safety. You have a rather sharp mind.
Do people not like to hear him talk? I’d love to listen to him explain what he’s doing, and why he’s doing it like that…. I went to his website, and looked at the pricing, I 100% think he’s asking every bit what they are worth, and probably should be asking for more. It really helps understanding why some cues are so expensive seeing these videos, and I wished more people would show what they do and why. The person that doesn’t do these things think it’s “so easy” or “it can’t be that hard”, but there is a ton of work that goes into these, and if I’m ever good enough of a pool player, and able to afford one of these cues I’m buying one, because they are worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY! I hope he becomes the next Balabushka.
i'm a new subscriber and i have real high anxiety amd take meds for it i watch you videos amd for some reason there so relaxing amd watching art being made from some wood it's awesome finally someone that puts out awesome content please keep making them thanks for your time and effort
I learned a new word today, chatoyancy. I'm fond of this as well since I first seen a curly maple Barnhart custom 20+ years ago and I was almost memorized by the 3D effects of the grain. To my ignorance, I thought it was pretty much the only wood like that until I just learned about Sapele in your vid just now. I havent yet completed my dream custom in my minds eye. Perhaps I should illustrate it on a drawing program. But I want an 8 pointed red, orange, yellow veneers and maybe a different shade of those colors on the opposite 4 points. Perhaps maybe even just reversed. With Curly and Sapele woods but not sure of layout. I should figure that out and email you as I know you're backed up. Love your videos and your work!
As a amateur pool player myself I have seen a lof of cues but you are on another level. I suppose if I have to ask I can't afford one of your cues but here goes anyway, What do your works of art cost mere humans ??
Love your videos. Do you have anything that focuses on the inlays, flutes. Step by step for us VERY beginners. I am a woodworker and a pool shooter. I have a Shark CNC and a cue lathe and I really want to start making pool cues. thanks in advance
What did you do before making pool cues? You are meticulous in your approach. IQ must be off the charts. What is the best way to place an order and get on the waiting list?
Fascinating. What would you compare the hit of the stick to? The "hardest" hitting stick I have ever felt was my Helmstetter 3-cushion sneaky pete. The next hardest hitting stick is an older Jerry Franklin Southwest. After that, I had a Schon and a Dale Perry that were similar, but both hard a different hit because of the stainless joint collars.
Would you consider making a video showing your lathes? I want build cues but need the tools and I would love to build a cnc cue lathe modeled after yours.
I get this request a lot. I’m hesitant because it really doesn’t matter what kind of equipment you have. But it’s something I may do soon. My stuff is very patchwork…bought used here and there over a few years. I am a huge fan of Unique Inc. - they make my cnc and cue lathe I’m currently using.
really enjoy these vids buddy. Are you gonna try some shafts with carbon core? I want one, how do I get on the list and what are your rates or price breakdown?
18 mins and 1 second ago I didn't need a new pool cue. My, how things have changed.
Superb craftsmanship.
The Xbox controller for the router cracked me up. I love it.
You make the best looking cues and by far the best cue making videos on RUclips.

I live in Korea. Your cues made of maple wood are so nice. It is a luxury that I really want to have.
Best videos on RUclips. Shot and edited beautifully and your work is impeccable! 10/10⭐️

Do you make cue for french billard ? 3 cushion, 1cushion and free game ?
Always wanted to make my own cue... but Keith Cues did it for me. Love it.
How do we go about ordering a cue? I would be interested in a traditional Sneaky Pete...maybe with the slightest pinch of flair

Very cool! As a Canadian, I appreciate this cue! How do people order cues or commission you for work?
H;nj
You don't I've asked in almost every video...
It's pinned in the top comment on the most recent video
Fascinating.

I have a Birds Eye maple and curly maple sneaky Pete built by a local builder you can hardly notice the full splice unless you look close
Bummer that some of your equipment broke. Absolutely phenomenal cue! Thanks for sharing.
