man, I was looking for a long time for a video of this pedal, and I couldn't find a video that would clear my doubts, your video helped me a lot thanks
I use this unit all the time and think it's great, especially for the price. JC, it can do a lot more than we hear on this video if you make more use of the MOD control. Thanks for sharing.
Hey, do you play guitar in a worship team at a church by any chance? You play pretty much the same way worship guitarists play with a reverb. Just wondering.
Your basic "test sounds" seemed a bit too quick. Long notes and slow chords work better with ambient tones and that would have given us a better idea about effect shaddow and tail characteristics. I ordered one a few weeks back (before your review) and it arrives soon.
I think it sounds cool, especially for the price. I considered it for my home pedal board. I decided to build one that I could carry out and gig with, so I went with the walrus audio R1.Thanks for the review though. Good stuff
I bought one, and mine added hiss to my pedal board, even with isolated power supply. Both front of amp and in the loop. Sadly I had to take it off the board - I liked the sounds though
Oh man. So sorry you experienced that. I didn’t notice a hiss with mine so I’m assuming it was a one-off situation with your particular pedal. Sucks though!
With acoustics I tend to stay away from heavy reverb (personally). However, I’m sure it would sound great. The thing with Strymon is functionality. That’s really what you’re paying for. The ability to call upon a variety of sounds at a step of a switch. Especially with MIDI functionality. So, if you don’t need that type of functionality, this is an amazing option.
I own this pedal, and unless the user makes adjustments, you're not getting anything near what it is capable of. That's what the knobs are for. During the time you spent gabbing, you could've tweaked a little and found the sweet spots. This demo does not do the pedal justice. The only thing it is lacking, IMO, is stereo ins and outs.
Hey Terry. Personally, I think your comment would be better constructive if you maybe offered up settings for our community to try out. As you can tell, I am very kind in my videos and would respectfully request I’m treated kindly back. Thank you for watching anyway. 🙏🏼

Awesome! So glad this video helped. A lot to unpack with this product, but it's good one for sure! Some really useable tones.
Thanks for this review! Great playing as well. Ordered one a few days ago and can't wait to use it in my home studio.
Thank you! Congrats!

2 years late but I really liked the review of this pedal. I hope you do other affordable ambient pedals.
I need more Velcro
The rewind sounds like a reverse plate reverb. That church setting is interesting I kind of want to try it
So glad this video was helpful to you! Thank you for watching.

Thank you Scott! Always appreciate the support.

Do you still have it? It sounds like a faulty filter capacitor.
I do not. @@SJT_711
Does it go 100% wet?
How does this pedal sound on an acoustic guitar? How does it compare to Strymon pedals on acoustic?
