I agree. It was nice, but that guitar riff was so spot on and unexpected for me in the final minutes combined with "D.A.N.C.E" and "Safe and Sound" vocals. Unbelievable culmination.

Maybe you know this already, but Garspard Augé did the original soundtrack of the movie Rubber, by Quentin Dupieux (aka Mr Oizo). Very different vibe from from the Justice dancy stuff or from Tron, but still good

This mix is so fricking awesome but it could have been even better if it was D.A.N.C.E - Horsepower - Safe and sound. That way you have one song of each album.
Also horsepower was at the ending of Randy so it was fitting too.
That opening synth is so filthy. Ugh I’ve gotta go jump on my synth when I get home. I can’t stand being stuck at work and hearing something do lip-bitingly gratuitous to my ears.

For some reason I’m imagining a racing anime where this is the song in the last race. Two friends, fighting for the championship side by side, neither giving the other an inch until the last lap, where the one in front makes a small mistake, accidentally letting their friend ahead. That last lap isn’t easy, as their friend gives it all they’ve got to find a gap or make one, until they end the race in a photo finish, side by side. The diver who made the last lap pass is the champion, the garage has a lot of respect for them keeping it clean, and the last shot of the season is them as teammates in an F1 or Super Formula equivalent, lined up next to each other for the first race of the season.
