There ya go. Better sponsor. Thank you for the video guys.
I am a bit disappointed they do not ship poisonous blood thou...
Put these guys in the category of: "Fantasy nations that would fall apart in two seconds if they existed in real life."
They're so shit at actually running a country that if it wasn't for a constant stream of slaves and gold from their victims they would fall apart instantly, and they know it. Combined with their love of inflicting suffering and that's why they keep attacking... pretty much everyone else.
I mean they kinda are in universe, they just stave it off by being hedonistic sons of bitches and breeding more than their Asur kindred while making up for manpower losses in civilian projects with aggressive intern recruitment.
I imagine the closest in real life was the USSR under Stalin.
I think it's opposite. They would be a intercontinental superpower for many years like British or American empires.
@@TheMasteRTheo HA! no. With their constant backstabbing disorder, low reproduction, and the fact they go out of their way to be evil to literally everyone else. Yeah, people would dogpile them and wipe them out within a few years
As cartoonishly evil and cruel these guys can be, there has to be a Dark Elf smith or baker somewhere just keeping the logistics going.
knowing games workshop's writing his name is probably "Malefax Darkbaker" and his lore is:
"Darkbaker uses only the most vile and evil flour for his bread, for that purpose he plants the wheat in the most corrupted chaos wastes and after harvesting and grinding it into flour he drenches it in the blood of a thousand slaves to make sure that the bread is of the most cruel and painful nature"
@@yari4046 "Malefax Darkbaker also runs a dark bakery school to continue his dread teachings, with decorating classes on Wednesday.
He is a single father to Harshspite Darkbaker, who is eight and plays the bone flute."
@@jonbaxter2254 Those sound like slave jobs
Yep, and Carl (the Cruel...maybe?), who's like this nerdy Dark Elf that is in charge of inventory management and the accounts of gold and slaves
Technically your low tier infantry (dread spears, bleak swords, crossbow men) are essentially a militia similar to how viking armies worked. You still had a trade (although base labor and farming was still done by slaves) but you were expected to be a soldier when the time came.
"If you don't conquer Ulthuan this time, Malekith, you're grounded!" -Morathi, probably at some point.
The segue into the sponsor was awesome.
6:02 "Our sponsor - not as bad as Dark Elf poison!"
Warhammer Fantasy just HITS different ✨
The dark elves sound like something a teenager would imagine to be super duper edgy.
like ligers 😂
thats the best part.... elves but without being annoying gay tree huggers...
@ don't cut yourself on that edge, while you're at it.
@@archongaur1191 yes this is much better mate xddd
Do the industrial might and twisted mockery of the Chaos dwarf legions next.
May I humbly suggest Elric and other Moorcock multiverse stories? So much modern fantasy (from Warhammer to D&D to the Valerians in GOT) was inspired by his works.
Haven't read it. Maybe one day.
I just love this Ones. Definitely my favorite Race 😁
The production quality on this channel is amazing.
Finally, part two is here
Amazing! Thank you! Please keep doing these Warhammer Army videos. Beastmen and Vampire Counts have lots of cool units and monsters too!
these guys are more misbehaved than the drow 😂
Thank you for dropping BetterHelp as sponsor!
Absolutely love your content! One of the Best lore channel ✨
Excellent work as always!

What races are next? The chaos dwarves? The skaven?
Ah yes, Naagarond, the edgier Sparta
Why are they breeding mounts that are trying to kill them? Imagine breeding a breed of horses that constantly trying to kill you.
I was curious about Warhammer 40K and spent some time learning about it. It's depressing. Genocide is basically what it is. It's just fighting, that's it. There's no hope, no love and no destiny, just death and fighting. I mean, after the AI wars it's basically inhumane societies fighting. It's a wonder anyone is still alive. No one is the good guy, no one has any empathy at least not in what I have read and watched. Oligarchy has won everywhere and there's no peaceful places to just enjoy. Am I missing something?
In the grim darkness of the far future there is only war.
That's the whole point.
@brutalchicken yea I got that but when I started I didn't know that. I found it unreasonable to enjoy. That's just my opinion. Was hoping I was missing something.
thats exactly why people love it... gilded brutality... no hippie star trek bs. But theres a lots of hope... hopefuly we humans wipe out all aliens and dominate the galaxy again before our ultra dictatorial over bureaucratic imperium eat itself alive. Dont know what else you have expected from IP that coined term grimdark.
@@simply_the_dev7588 From personal experience, what jumpstarted my interest into WH40K was the sheer, over-the-top nature of the setting. For starters, the Baneblade is an absurd 'super-heavy' tank brimming with enough weapons to decimate modern-day regiments on its own. Does it make sense in the context of real life? No. But it just screams "Awesome!", and that is just one of many instances in WH40K which showcases this.
The setting lore is another draw for myself and definitely countless others. Just the Imperium alone covers 10,000 years of history crowded with insane events and wars, and it is just a drop in the ocean of lore spanning hundreds of millions of years, to say the least. And that does not even include the reasonably in-depth material on governance and culture, from faction-wide to individual organisations like the Inquisition. WH40K was my first major tenure into deep worldbuilding, and even then, only a handful of franchises have lore that is this in-depth, complex and yet generally coherent despite its scale.
Of course, as my previous comment implied, that honeymoon period wore out over time owing to a range of reasons I cannot properly describe (though the extreme grimdark has played a part to it). But that is beside the point.
What I am describing is just the personal perspective of one WH40K fan, former or not - many do unironically consider its grimdark nature a good thing (that I cannot deny, despite my misgivings). Despite the ridiculous decisions that Games Workshop had made over the past decade, it remains a major franchise for a reason.
@@simply_the_dev7588nope, you hit the nail on the head. It’s terrible. Everyone is terrible. Humanity has morphed into a monster just to survive. The Eldar have fractured into three major societies with different ideas as to how to survive. The Tau have very mysterious benefactors and a rigid caste system (tho they are some of the least worst.) Tyranids and Orks can’t be blamed for what they are but they are literally the things nightmares are made of. The Votann are capitalism made manifest.
It’s all terrible. There is only war and the laughter of thirsting gods. And I love every second of it.
Malekith wasn't rejected by the Flames, he simply failed to stick it out until he was reborn
end times lore is not valid, it's just poorly written fan fiction
Can't get enough elves. Thank you
I am loving these videos! Keep up the good work!
Magic Spoon; Malekith approved!
This Dark Elvish army seems more formidable than all the armed forces of Sauron from LOTR
If you know about Brandon Mull's Fablehaven, would greatly appreciate it!
Maliketh… the rightful king and Phoenix Lord of the Asur. 👑
he wishes lol
@@mercurio822 He was. End Times proved it.
@takenogundam1 not cannon.
@mercurio822 the End Times isn't canon?
Thank you! this is amazing
Thanks For this Guys! These are awesome ❤❤❤❤
make a video on the warriors of chaos
OMG finally
Merci ❤
I still have my Fantasy Dark Elf army. Awaiting its revival in Old World.
Try do this video but without mentioning the word Dark
Please do Narnia! Pretty please?
Do kislev next please 🙏 3:13
The armies of the true Phoenix King.
Hear me out, them female elves with swords
If captured, they’d just enjoy regular torture. To truly break them, you’d have to be nice to them as a prisoner. Read them love poems or something. Knit them a scarf.
I love fantasy USA
Come on, one of them is known for ransacking the whole world for resources and labor, rampant racism, mighty navy and automatic ranged weapons, being descended from an ancient island empire with ultramar colonies, and being built on a foundation of slavery
And the other, uhhh
Malekith = Trump ? 😂
You mean fantasy South Africa
What is the source of the stories of the fantasy world of Warhammer?
Some book? Can you tell me their names?
I assume codexes in majority as it is what they are made for
And there is a lot of story books,
Ah yes, the Yankees of Warhammer Fantasy.
Please also do lore documentary about the One Year War (Mobile Suit Gundam).
cool
i thought elves were supposed to be jolly.
They do get pretty excited about killing and murdering their victims, and that's something they do quite often
dope lol
Honestly how do Dark Elfs keep up their numbers lol ?
grape
@@mercurio822 Warhammer elves are way more kinky than humanly possible. They probably make new elves at a steady basis
@@salivatingfarmhand5409 indeed, the Druchii do rely on s3x sl4very in order to keep their numbers up. They also have most of their regular troops being child soldiers, because it's either kill or die in Druchii society.
Bruh
this shit so silly lol
40k fantasy has some incredible lore
Love these videos, you guys do such a good job! Looking forward to more of the Warhammer Fantasy races!
