I’m pretty sure the NPCs were still trying to run on regular time even though Seanie was running at x14. That’s why Robin came to the desk at 5pm and Shane never left his bedroom. It made the video waaayyyy funnier, though. 😂
How it works from my experience is, NPCs are scheduled to start moving at time X, and it happens to be timed to match the time of arrival we're used to.
For example, if you double the time in a day, Pam arrives at the bus at ~9:10AM. because she always leaves her home at the same time no matter the speed.
In other words, at the speed Seanie set the day to play, there's a very real chance that the desert would stay unavailable forever.
The npcs dont have Set time in the game so its like " stand in your room for 1 irl minute " and not the in game time so haleyb probs never left her room
@@juliamenzynska8941no, the first comment was right. if you have the cheat menu, you'll be able to see it happen.
for example, shane sets out to go to jojamart at 7:10. if the current time was 6:30 and you skipped forward to 9:00, even if he was hella late for his job at this point, he'll immediately start moving the moment you change the time.
you can also observe this if you stand in front of haley and emily's house. skip forward in time, and all the npcs who pass that area just go out all at once lol.
Wow, and I don’t even feel like I have enough time in the day during a normal play through as a casual player

The salmon berry thing does give you about 3 times more berries but it isn’t in the number of berries per bush. It’s actually because reloading boost the rate at which berries spawn on bushes (for some reason)

Edit reason: i for some reason have unlocked the ability to go into maru's bedroom using the outside door but cannot exit into the main house at the inside door. i dont know what triggers this so i believed it was possible at the start of a game.

Me on Hilltop: this layout is so easy to understand and the farm has many useful benefits like easy access to river fish and the quarry with occasional geode nodes giving free geodes, I can't see how anyone could hate it
