- What can I say this one is too fun to play with, I don't think I'll get anything else done for a while. LOL. Truthfully one of the easiest sliders I've done! Super easy to add on to the Platform and I am sure to do this one again.
I'm going to keep this brief and if I get a chance to come back I'll try to add the products I used and such. We currently have no power and are limping along with a generator. Minnesota got hit with some bad thunderstorms the last two days (May 11 and 12), last night's being the worst straight line winds, more rain, and lots of damage. We are all okay, our animals are all fine, we can't say the same for some close friend's herd. I'm exhausted, I'm sure my husband is twice as much. He and the boys helped out our friend and then still had to make sure our barns were all good last night. We will be working on clean up for a bit and then trying to get in the fields. It's been a rough spring farm-wise and mother nature is not letting up. So if my voice over sucks I'm sorry...but only because I'm sure I could have made it worse and I missed my opportunity to throw all caution to the wind.
We've got this. It's life and as long as we are still kicking we'll be just fine.

I live in northern MN and the storms and winds have been fierce here. My son lives in Minneapolis and was driving home from work during the tornado warning, 80 mph winds and horizontal rain May 11th. Of course he (hands free calling) called me while he was driving so I could freak out too!
Your card is amazing. If I had the roller coaster set I’d surely make this card. Great job!
My sons and husband were out securing barns and trying to get the power back up, calling me to get my butt in the basement...but I can't see what's going on down there! 😒🤷♀️

Hello Jaime. Holy moly u did an incredible job on this Platform Pop-Up w/ Slider add on!! I love all the tiny details as they really make the card to that next level. Lawn Fawn is great about that & is a HUGE reason they’re my favorite. Perfect example is the cute bunny holding a balloon & cotton candy. Lawn Fawn should’ve made a critter looking up so that ppl could use it as the kiddo who lost its balloon as the balloon is floating away. Would be easy to create on a card & on the Platform Pop Up, just use acetate for balloon. My head is filling w/ ideas, lol. BTW, had a good laugh when u talked about ur single speed heat gun being given to ur son. Then u hugged it & his response…all for u to say that if u can’t keep ur kids guessing whether ur crazy or not, what fun is there in being their mom then. Haha 🤣😂🤪 OMGosh Jaime, too stinking funny! And the crazy thing is it was in the 1st place I looked to start with. L😆L but I did not look good enough, i just only skimmed through cause I wanted it at the time. and then continue looking on to other places . if I would have thoroughly looked I would have found it the 1st day,, but it tool like a week to show up. I've done this like 3 times now. you think I would've learned my lesson by now lol!!!! I agree little critters would be cool👍
LOL, yes I once looked for 20 minutes to give up and it was back in the package because I knew I'd misplace it... but then forgot that I put it back. Oi...I wonder how I find anything sometimes. It's still lost in neverland yet. But I'm done using it for now so it will show it's self soon enough. Thanks for watching!

I loved your card! I have done the same thing with the glossy accents too! I found a bat die I thought I lost in my shoe! I always check my shoes when looking for dies!
😂 oh funny. My misadventures in crafting could probably have its own channel. I check shirt sleeves and by my feet all the time.
I'm new to subscribing here although I have called in a few times. I love slider cards and this one is soooo cute, really nice to see how you put it all together! My Big shot, and it's new, doesn't cut out the actate either, no matter how many times I rolled it through!
Thanks so much for subscribing! Yes so annoying. If I remember to put a thicker piece of cardstock behind it, it helps actually cut through. I just rarely remember to do it till after.
Use a scrap piece of card stock for the die to cut into when using acetate. It works like magic.
I will try that again, but I think I need to add a shim in general as even paper doesn't cut if it hits the rollers just so. Thanks for the reminder and watching!
