Bumped into your channel a I was planning to fence my farm. Thanks! Regarding farm layout, those are good points, but the wind and odour piece might not be entirely within your control as the neighbour's animals might be the ones that are upwind to your house... Just a thought.

Wind normally blows from North to South in 90% of the cases. So when setting up farm structures,this should be considered so that you don't get your structures blown away.
