- 1988 A Visit to Sundown Adventure Land, we used to call it Pets Corner, as it had quite a lot of animals back then, the other attractions were only just being added and it improved year by year.
I always called it and always will call it Pet Corners - a wonderful place to go for children and adults!

Thanks for this. I was born in 88 and came here up until age 9 and have fond memories of this. My dad called it ‘pets corner’ i remember being terrified of the animatronic dragon who asks why you stole his treasure!

I went there today for the first time since the late 80s/early 90s this video brought back so many memories of how it used to be! Also I love the VW transporter, great 80s family transport.
I've got vivid memories of walking up that ladder in the shoe slide. It looks so much smaller than I remember.

I’m currently 20 and I go to sundown every year with my younger cousins and I’ve been going there since I was 3 and it’s still a massive part of Christmas for me, being able to take my young cousins and watch them experience the joy I did at that age

I can remember an area that had buildings you could crawl through the air vents, there was a room with ghosts making money float in a bank.

Was this the place with the houses and secret compartments?
I can't remember the names. I remember playing there. It also had a hidden inside steep wide slide. You could also open up boxes, open cupboards and crawl through hidden entrances to venture around. I went back around 2010 and these had gone.
There is still a part like that but the buildings are different from when I was a kid (I'm 39) the big slide inside one of them definitely isn't there now

I thought I dreamt that. I was wondering if it was the same place. It has seats like a church (from memory) with an astronaut in the front. If it's in this video I haven't got that far yet.
