I have tried almost everything to fade my acne scars. The one thing that worked extremely well is The Ordinary 100% ascorbic acid powder. It costs $7 and I mix it with my First Aid Beauty cleanser and let it sit for 10 min or more then I wet my hands and wash my face with it. I can't say enough about how this has changed my skin. Menopause is throwing my skin for a loop and this has helped my scars and I don't have oily skin anymore. I literally have to stop wearing my matte favorites.
Love Merit, love this video, Tania♥️ Just watching you swatch, blend, play makes my heart happy. You have a laid-back but artsy vibe and I’m always here for your content!! Xoxo
Hi Tania. Im almost 48 and have had sunspots developing for years. Ive found lactic acid and retinol to be very helpful, and of course, keep covering up with sunscreen!😄;Theyve reduced quite a bit in the last year but are still there. Learning how to embrace them as a normal part of my skin changing so I don't stress about it too much💓
For sunspots - love the Dennis Gross peel pads at night. Followed by a powerful vitamin C + alpha arbutin serum + a good moisturizer. Then tons of vitamin C + sunscreen in the AM.
For sunspots try and use LicoForte 40mg gel. My dermatologist prescribed it for me and from pharmacy. Not expensive and effective. Had two dark spots which literally disappeared in a month. Now I use alpha serum every night after my tretinoine. Till now these spots never resurfaced 😊. Lovely make up btw
gorg!! for sunspots- maelove fade away serum, with cerave resurfacing retinol at night (gentle retinol but also has licorice and niacinamide), plus your vit c + spf in the morning 🫶🏼🤍
You probably get this a lot, but you should do asmr. Your voice and cadence is perfect for it!! Beautiful look. I don't own any Merit Beauty but I'm curious about it.
What a beautiful look as always Tania! I have that merit blush as it came with a holiday trio set that I bought last year, you definitely inspired me to take it out and make a similar look ❤️
If you take the Merit bag instead of tying it you could just sew a big brown button or a black button on the handle & on the other side cut a little hole & u could use it as a small purse.
Excellent and fabulous! Love your work. It is so relaxing and inspiring to watch you do your makeup…I will do similar look today. My daughter and I have a little competition how will come out with more ideas for makeup every day, I think I will win it today 😉
I love my merit blushes, foundation stick, lipstick, bronzer, serum . It's all so natural! Beautiful look. Now I want to use my red merit blush! Thank you so much for sharing!!
I got that new highlight stick as soon as it came out! I’m fair, but I use it over my bronzer & it makes it really glowy & pretty! Love their highlight sticks!
Such a gorgeous look. I LOVE Merit. Have almost all of their stuff, and adore it. I use the blush bomb in Rogue and then a bit of Stockholm on the apples. AMAZING COMBO. Have you tried prescription Retinol for your sun spots? I use Tretinoin :)
Hi Tania, I had terrible sunspots and felt so self conscious without covering them but last September/October I started medik8 retinol and the caudalie vinoperfect serum and they are drastically reduced!! I feel comfortable without makeup now which I absolutely didn’t before 😊
I was honestly dubious but (whilst they are not completely gone yet as it’s years of damage to undo); the difference in just a few months is very noticeable! So I’ve been proven wrong 😁
Hi Tania. I started to notice sun spots similar to you on my cheeks a while ago. You should try alpha arbutin or tranexamic acid/kojic acid combination creams. I'm currently using the melan trans3x. Still on my 1st vial but it's a well researched ingredient for this skin issue.
Beautiful - love that blush colour! Have you tried mixing a little concealer with the blush to spot conceal your sunspot? I also have one on my cheek and use that technique (picked up from Lisa Eldridge), works well :-) For treating it, I've tried Allies of skin Mandelic Pigmentation Corrector Night Serum, helps fading the sunspot.
Tania you have to try medik 8 oxy r serum for your spots. It can amplify your vitamin c but I just use that with no vitamin c and holy cow it’s so so good
That’s exactly where my sun spots are right under where my blush goes and it makes it look weird too low … for a year I’ve been using Tretnoin most every night … whew it definitely has lightened my spots to barely noticeable I’ve also been using RNW Essence Numbuzin #5 serum and toner (on my arms too ) in the am Niacinimide toner from Good molecules is awesome for pore size overnight shrinks mine I just got the AGE-R Booster Pro device it is worth every penny!!!! the booster and airshot and the microcurrent mode really does get your skincare deeper my skin is so plumped up and juicy and bouncy!!! I can’t believe it LOL! I love Merit!!! Baby is one of my fav lipsticks the serum looks nice! And the blush ☺️
Hi Tania unfortunately we don’t have it in Sephora Spain. I really hope they will decide to send from the official site to Europe soon 🤞🏻or otherwise that they will decide to put them in Sephora Spain too! Thanks a lot for your answer and I’m wishing you a nice weekend! I’m so happy to have “found” you because I really love all your videos and your way to communicate and review products 🌹🌷
Retinol, retinol, retinol.. I would start with over the counter and then work you way to a prescription retinol. Literally the best.. or Azelaic acid if retinol is too much for you. Also safe for those who are pregnant
@@TaniaBWells oh yeah that’s good! I hope it helps also. Other than that I would say vitamin c every morning and then if you want something stronger.. chemical peels are probably the thing that will give the biggest difference
I recommend a Dermatologist. 😉 Seriously, skincare has become a huge business and things like sunspots really should be looked at by a professional. I care about you girl. 💚
Is it all merit? Can't get that brand in UK so pointless drooling over. Products can't buy without paying more than order value in shipping, duties and tax

Thank you, I’m 52 and my skin and hair just are soooo different. I’m breaking out too, it’s so tough!

Retin A for sun spots. love your videos.
I just went up in dosage for my retinA. Hoping it will help!
Me too! Sunspots on my cheeks! I need help with them and no luck with vitamin c they irritate my skin. Trying to find one my skin likes.

Hi Tania, I had terrible sunspots and felt so self conscious without covering them but last September/October I started medik8 retinol and the caudalie vinoperfect serum and they are drastically reduced!! I feel comfortable without makeup now which I absolutely didn’t before 😊
I was curious about that Caudalie serum!! Thanks for the recommendations!!❤️

I do remember seeing that technique from her. I should try next time. Thanks for all the recommendations.❤️

Obagi Nuderm system will fade those sunspots away. It worked wonder on my skin
Gorgeous! 💛
Thank you!❤️

Thank you for the recommendation!! Never heard of it. I’ll have to look into it
Definitely check it out. If I could show you my skin just after a week of use I would!! It’s definitely changed my overall tone and texture.
Please forgive me, but I beg your pardon, the guerlain blushes supreme! Better than any you put in your face!❤
Im loving your ear stack!! We need details lol are they from idyl?
Yes!! Most of them are from Idyl. Some from amazon! I love Idyl pieces, they are so luxurious and unique!!
@TaniaBWells Yes! They are lovely. Hopefully, one day, they can send you gifts.

@@TaniaBWells she started me out on .05 I was afraid 🤣🤣🤣 but it’s been fine
❤❤❤❤❤
Tania, trying your link but it doesn't give the MERIT discount. Any tips?
You have to go to the sets and the discount should be there.
Tanya may I ask you where your lovely accent originates? I am intrigued. You are a very beautiful lady.
Romania
I am from Romania❤️
🧡🙌🙌
Hi Tania I really would like to have merit products, but they don’t send to Europe… do you know how or where to buy in Europe? Thanks 🙏🏻
I am not sure. Unless you guys have them at Sephora. I really wish they would ship to Europe

I do have a prescription for tretinoin. Just went up to 0.05%. Hopefully that will help.

I do have a dermatologist and he prescribed me Tretinoin. We’ll see how it goes.
I wish I could send you before/after pic … biologique recherche lotion p50 PIGM and cream iso placenta you would be amazed by the results 😊
I’m writing down all of these suggestions! Thank you❤️
Is it all merit? Can't get that brand in UK so pointless drooling over. Products can't buy without paying more than order value in shipping, duties and tax
I get that! It is not all Merit beauty, maybe 50% off them. I so wish they would ship internationally.
Go see a Dermatologist & check for skin cancer first & they can prescribe the real deal.
I do have a dermatologist. I think I have another appointment in two months and I’ll ask her
Just today i purchased thr same quad (300 from YSL) in Spain, got it with a big discount and I will try it tomorrow ❤
Oh that’s amazing!! Good for you!! ❤️
