@cartoonn786 These were caught during the salmon run in September - but there are some fellows fishing now - March - at the Credit River near the lighthouse in Port Credit. Not sure what they are fishing for/ catching - tho usually early spring is when the carp fishermen start making the rounds. Best thing is to go to river and ask anyone you see fishing etc since the season varies from year to year.
You should know that When you let a salmon or any decently sized migratory river Luke that walk you around you risk the fish turning on you .believe me you cant reel as fast as they can swim.
This is north of the footbridge. An MNR fellow told me that they were fishing for trout there as early as 2 weeks ago.

Super job. What line did you use and bait?
Right now ? Or just generally? Haven't been up to Erindale for a month. Will head up and have a look.
No clue - I was behind camera - but the preferred bait seemed to be roe/egg sacks.
Holy smokes! That was a PRIZE WINNING FISH!
Is this below the bridge or above at Erindale park

Sad to see that these fish have to go through a china town amount of people getting picked off before they can spawn
